My favorite family cooking traditions
Getting together with my mom every single year at Christmas to bake dozens of cookies. Always the same cookies, always the same amount. Just comforting.
My cooking triumphs
I made chili from scratch during 2009s Nebraska vs. Texas game before a group of our friends came over. I made a stock pot full and by the end of the night, the entire stock pot was GONE! Definitely a proud moment of mine. =)
My cooking tragedies
I was in Culinary class and we were catering for the teachers and my group was assigned Zucchini Bread and the containers weren't marked and instead of grabbing sugar, I grabbed 1 cup of salt. =/ Needless to say, it didn't turn out as planned.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread
I'm sorry, I couldn't bear not to smash my bananas and mix them with the other ingredients! But seriously, this is the recipe that I've been looking for. Delicious!

Spinach Roll-Ups
Tried these according to the recipe and they turned out fine. Nothing special. The next time, I tried them with red onion instead of regular white and they tasted much better. =) Thanks for the great recipe!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I
The first time I made this according to directions. It was bland. So I'm only giving it 3 stars for that. I added a bit more salt and pepper as well as some corn for texture and it just made it that much better. Thanks for a good starting point, my mom used to make this with tuna!
