Big soft cookies. I took the advice of others and jazzed it up. I put some orange rind in the batter and just a touch of orange juice in the frosting. Yum!!!!

Carrot Cake Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2012
Nice & Moist but I am going to try for bigger flavor profile the next time I make them. I think to boost the flavor I will replace the water for the cake mix with coffeee & use Cheesecake Pudding instead of vanilla. Overall a really nice spin on the whoopie pie I was a little concerned on how well the cream cheese & milk would blend. I beat the cream cheese and slowly added the milk while I was beating it and it worked well.

Awesome! Not exactly chewy. Very dense. Your choice in cocoa powder makes a huge difference. My 4 year old nephew requests them all the time and as word as out seems, hetypically doesn't easy baked sweets.

Cranberry Pecan Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly. This bread makes wonderful toast. I looked twice at the recipe with no sugar, eggs, or oil ( with the exception for the pan and the top after baking). I am going to try it with blueberries and other dried fruits.

Blueberry Congealed Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2006
I have made this salad twice and it has been wiped out both times. I use sugar free jello without any problem. I have also used Blackberries and raspberry jello working well too. I also added a dash of banana extract to the cream cheese/sour cream with great results.

This a really excellent cookie. Easy, all the ingrediets are basic, you don't have to run to the store. Excellent flavor. They stay soft. If you under bake them a little they are chewy.
