Blueberry Breakfast Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
Only because I couldn't make the recipe to a T does it get 4 stars. I don't know how the recipe would be if I did. I didn't have any cornstarch so I used a little extra flour and used fresh blueberries so I needed some extra water. Boiled for about 3 minutes over medium heat. Served on pancakes. I would reduce the sugar as well. Simple with a great blueberry taste, will definitely use again!

Easiest Teriyaki Marinade Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
Didn't seem to exactly permeate through the chicken after marinading for 3 hours so I will try again but let it sit for longer. The outside tasted great. Broiled the chicken breasts and then thinly sliced and mixed in with some toasted sesame seeds and asian style noodles, delectable ha.

French Toast Corners

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2009
I didn't cut them into corners just in half and used whole wheat bread and no butter. The taste was great in my opinion but I had a problem with the middles of the bread still being soggy, even tried cooking on medium instead of medium-high. Maybe to cook properly they needed to be those small corners, I don't know but it was still goo!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
This was a great recipe. The only reason it has four stars was because of the amount of sugar, I decreased it amount of sugar as others noted and it was still a little sweet. I had a ton (a massive tin of applesauce that my evicted roommate left here and I was able to get rid of about 3/4 of it in this recipe, hence I did not use sliced apples and had to increase the flour to 2 Tbs and extra cinnamon because I love it. Next time, if I am able to afford it, I may use a bit of nutmeg just to experiment but I will definitely use sliced apples. It did turn out like a nice apple-ish pudding with a nice and crispy top and tasted good, thanks and my other two roommates thank you as well, as they devoured it in one night!
