Sunday Afternoon Slow-Cooked Spare Ribs

Flavor was good, not overpowering at all. Spareribs were pretty tender, too. Husband really liked them!

Bacon Roll Ups II

Great little appetizer, but agree with others that the cream cheese needed a little seasoning - I think I'll try the garlic powder next time. I used a light wheat bread instead of white and that worked/tasted great, too.

Exchanged apple sauce for the oil, egg substitute for eggs, organic raw sugar, and used the whole wheat flour. Great basic recipe! My children loved them!

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Used kale instead of spinach and turkey italian sausage - great reviews from the family! Even the kids ate it up! I also did not keep taking the bacon and sausage out, but kept adding everything into the pot.

Asian Roll Lettuce Wrap

Very refreshing & light! Due to being snowed in, I had to make use of what I had on hand. I used some leftover roasted chicken and cut it up. Sauteed the chicken with green onion and garlic, then added in the brown rice. We used a broccoli slaw salad mix with carrots. My 3 yo and 7 yo (who usually do not eat anything along this line) ate it up!

Kid approved! Used the reduced fat cream cheese and added chives. I only used half of the processed cheese as was called or in the recipe.

Herbed Beef in Salt Crust

I was hesitant with all the salt, but it was truly unbelievable! Letting it sit for 15-20 minutes after wards, really helped sealed in the juices. We are making this for guests on New Year's Eve because I am confident they will enjoy it!
