Sweet Bacon Dogs

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
These are very good, I would say more on a casual setting, but simple and fun. And it's something you can throw together if you want a quick munchie.

Deer Poppers

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
These are great. I skewered them to make it easier to flip around, [practicing for munchies for the Super Bowl, this ones in the line up.] Served them with 'Devil's Steak Sauce' from this site, insanely good.

Devil's Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Wonderful, I'm a nut for sweet and savory. This fits the bill. I just eyeballed the ingredients to our taste [ used everything basically the same, just doubled], I made to go with 'Deer Poppers' from this site, I'll diffently be making again. Thanks.

Cinnamon Sour Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Wonderful! Sorry I messed with it a little. The only thing I did different was added a pinch of nutmeg and a cap full of vanilla. Yum! My husband is not a big biscuit eater [ I know he's nuts :) ] But he enjoyed these. I'll be making again. I got 10 fat biscuits out of the recipe. I made these again tonight. But instead of sweet I went more savory by adding garlic, parsley, and grated chedder cheese. It was good, but I'll stick with the original recipe.

Gourmet Cheese Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
These are very good and cheesy. I only added 1 c. of sour cream and that seamed to be plenty. I think I only used about 7 pds. of potatoes. Was a nice change.

Amazingly Good Eggnog

Wonderful recipe. Mine took 9 min. to get thick, kept putting my timer on 3 min intervals. I used 1 1/2 cups of rum., figured we can always add if we wanted to. Taste's great at room temp. Can't wait to try it tomorrow for Christmas. Thanks for a great recipe. :)

Chocolate Yule Log

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I made this for a practice run for x-mas gifts for some co-workers. It's easy fun and fast, and tastes great. Mine cracked a little when I tried to roll it, so now I know to cook it a little less then 15 min. I sliced an end off of each end and put it on the side of the log, like a branch coming out, also put a peanutbutter cup [fun size] on top of the log and frosted it to look like bump on the log.My mushrooms are candy nonpareils and kisses [tops melted just a touch for glue] I'm diffently making these as gifts this year. I also made Chocolate Almond Pine Cones from here.Thanks.

Chocolate Covered Caramel Surprise Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
These are great. After awhile of playing with them, I finally figured out how to do it. I kept a pile of powdered sugar in front of me on parchment paper, so I could put my palm and finger tips in it to keep them coated. I would take a TBLSP. of dough out [approximately] and put it in the palm of my hand, flatten with finger tips to a size of a small pancake, put your caramel in center, fold up sides and pinch close. Roll between your two palms. Keep putting your fingers in the powdered sugar as needed. Roll in sugar. Scrumptious

These are really good. I wasn't sure at first, because I used 'blackstrap molasses' [it's what I had on hand] And you can diffently taste the molasses. A very nice x-mas cookie to put with your collection.

Gourmet Dessert Recipes - Apple and Maple Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
Excellent! Followed the directions, just ended up using walnuts instead of pecans, and diced my apples instead of sliced. My company loved it. I'll definitely make this again.
