I thought these were so cute, loved them, so did everyone else. Should of used gel food coloring, would have gotten a better red. I used red colored mayo for my veina and pupils. Thanks for a great idea.

Butterfinger Chunkies

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
I used a little wooded mallet to break up the cookies in there own wrapper, and used 2 tea spoons to form the cookie dough into balls. Alot less mess. I also lined my cooling rack with a sheet of parchment paper so the cookies would'nt fall threw. Great recipe. :)

Crispy Oven-Roasted Rosemary Chicken with Sausage and Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
We thought this was very good.Followed the directions for browning. The only thing different I really did was throw a bag of baby carrots in, and had about a cup of left over beef gravy, I pored that on top. I baked for an hour, maybe a little more. Well make this again. Thanks.

Tina's Fruit Dip

I made this at the last minute, I planned on a cream cheese one, but didn't buy enough cheese. Had ingredients on hand for this and it was very easy and good, I served it chilled.

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
Thought this was good, but very, very rich. The only thing I did different, was I used the fake crab meat stuff. I didn't want to spend 30.00 dollars on just the crab if I didn't like it. I like this in a small portion.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
This was wounderful. I pounded my chicken breast, and used the eggwash half flour and half panko bread crumbs. I forgot to buy swiss cheese [woops], but I used a slice of american with some parmessan cheese. It tasted wounderful, can't wait to make it with the swiss. Doubled the sauce, yum. I didn't have any tooth picks, so I broke my wooded skewers in half to thread the chicken. Worked like a charm, and big enough to see. :)

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
This turned out great. I preheated one of my glass 9x13 pans with a little oil smeared around. And the other was room temp. when I put my breaded fish in 'ocean perch' [it's what I had]. baked for about 15 min.The preheated pan was a little cruncher on the bottom then the not preheated one. I used half seasoned bread crumbs and half 'Panko' bread crumbs. Will make again.

Rich Chocolate Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Excellent! I've always made brownies from a box, so did my mom. I've had my mother-in-laws and there ok, so I've never been in a hurry to make it from scratch. I'm so glad I finely did. I doubled the recipe [5 eggs, no baking powder] and used the frosting. Yum. They are sweet but very dense cake like. Will make again.

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
I thought this was very good, and easy. I doubled the batch to frost an ice cream cake from here. When you double it, you can use a small [5oz.] can of evaporated milk. No waste. Thanks for a very good frosting.

Southern Fried Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised, this was really good. Just him and I were eating it so I used half the cabbage, didn't use the oil, used the same amount of bacon, onion, but added more sugar. This went along great with our broiled pork steaks. Next time I might add some chopped apple in it. 9-7-12 This time I used turkey bacon and apples, still just as scrumptious :)

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Thank you. Between this wonderful recipe and the video for this, my pie turned out. I followed the recipe to a T and wouldn't change a thing. I've always been intimidated with meringue, but it worked. Me and my husband thank you again!

Double Crust Stuffed Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
This was so good. I made two pizza's. One dough I did by hand and the other in the bread machine. Both turned out wonderful. The one I made by hand,[ my home is chilly so I turned my oven onto 200* and put my covered bowl towards the back of my oven.] It rose at the same rate as the bread machine one. I loved the sweetness of the sauce. I thought the sausage pattie was a little weird, but it makes the pizza. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.
