So easy and delicious! I very rarely make a fish dish but this one will change that. Just the right amount of spice and sweetness! Thanks for submitting...it's awesome!

Yellow Squash Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2012
This dressing was really good. I made it exactly as the recipe stated and loved the flavor. I will make this one again but the only thing I would change would just be not using quite as much butter. It did take a long time to cook and I had to stir it and put it back in the oven a couple of times so that the top wouldn't burn before all of the moisture cooked out of the middle. Other than that I thought this was fantastic.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
This recipe is very easy and wow does it taste great! It's moist and flavorful! I did add a bit of cinnamon and cranberries and mashed the bananas but it would have been great just as it was written. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. I will be making again soon!

Zucchini Saute

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Very easy and tasty! I sauteed the veggies until they were a little on the carmelized side which made the dish have great flavor. I didn't change the recipe at all and I loved it. I just added salt and pepper to taste at the end. I will def make this one again!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake IV

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
This coffee cake rose beautifully and has perfect texture but is a little on the bland side. I made the recipe exactly as written even though the other reviewers said it needed a little something. I will make again but will add some vanilla and brown sugar to spice it up a little. Thanks for submitting!

Plum Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2010
Perfect recipe for all those plums you don't know what to do with. I added two eggs because mine were small and sprinkled my plums with cinnamon and vanilla before adding the batter. After putting the batter on top I sprinkled just a little brown sugar on the top. Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
You guys are gonna think I'm crazy but this recipe makes really great cookies! I made one loaf of bread and quickly realized that I didn't have a second pan so I dropped spoonfuls on a foil lined cookie sheet. They came out so good! They were crisp on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. Just don't overbake them. I sprinkled a little powdered sugar on the top and they were wonderful. Thanks for sharing this recipe...it's one of my favorites!

Apple Fritters

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
Good texture and very easy to make. I thought they were just a tad on the bland side but I drizzled a little honey on top and they were great. Next time I might add a little cinnamon along with the powdered sugar just to add a little zing.

Momma's Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Tastes very similar to my grandma's dressing. I never got the recipe from her so I was thankful to find this one. I made it for my hubby and son and both ate it all and wanted more. My other grandmother used to put some chopped jalapeno peppers in her dressing to spice it up a little. I might try this next time with half the dressing and leave the other half the same. Thanks for submitting!

Elva's Custard Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
This recipe is very similar to my grandmother's recipe but she used cinnamon instead of paprika. It turned out great but I did have to bake it a little longer than usual. It could be my oven since I live in an RV but I think I will try to reduce the milk just a tad next time and see how it turns out. Thanks for taking me down memory lane!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
So easy to make and my hubby loves them! I don't think you can mess these up even if you try. I didn't read to only put the jam 1/4 inch from edge so I managed to get them a little stuck in the foil and I also got busy talking to a neighbor and overbaked them a little. No problem..they still were wonderful and I will make them again soon (although this time I will pay more attention).

My Country Style Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
Wonderful way to use cube steak. I love the idea of cutting them into smaller pieces because I usually have to cook the life out of them to get them tender, but this was quick and easy. I did use garlic powder instead of garlic salt since I don't like very salty dishes and I used some milk instead of water as another suggested. Turned out wonderful. Thanks for submitting this one!

This was a great and easy recipe. I am always searching for an easy noodle dish and this passed the test. I did add a little extra red pepper because my hubby really likes it spicy. He asked me to make this one again soon. Thanks for the recipe!

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
Very easy and delicious! I omitted the pepper (I was out of it) but think it would have made it even better. Cilantro would have been good sprinkled on the top. Will try that next time along with a little more curry powder. Overall a wonderful chicken dish that my husband really enjoyed! Thanks!

Grandmother's Old Fashioned Butter Roll

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
This recipe is a flash back to my grandma! This tasted very similar to hers however but she always added cinnamon to hers and used evaporated milk. She taught me how to make a quick version of this...take a can of regular store bought biscuits, roll them out on a little flour so they are flat, put butter sugar and cinnamon on the dough, then fold over and press the sides together. Then cook just as you would the homemade version. SOOOO Good! Thanks for the recipe!
