Simple Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
Simple and delicious. I did double the milk to have extra gravy for mashed potatoes. I prefer baking, so baked at 400*f for 20 min. Sauce thickened nicely. I used tinned mushroom stems and pieces. I did add a 1/2 tspn of Worcestershire for additional flavor. 1 1/2 lbs meat made four thick patties. This recipe got printed out to join my collection of favorites. Thanks for posting it, Elouise

Troy's Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
A favorite of mine over the years. Never thought of using my slow cooker. I have always baked it in the oven for approx. 90 min. or until bubbly. Sauce is delicious over rice. Thanks Troy.

Old Bay® Steamed Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
Way too much vinegar! 1 Tbspn would serve. Its purpose is to kill the cooking odor. To sweeten and have no odor, use a can of beer instead of water for cooking the shrimp. Or mix beer with water if needed to cover shrimp. If the shrimp are mediums, 2 1/2 min. is enough cooking time.
