Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies
Delicious cookies! Everybody in my family loved these, even my mom that doesn't care for peanut butter. I used 1.5 cups of oats and all brown sugar. Make sure to melt the butter for the right texture. Great protein snack for energy.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This is a good pie, but a whole stick of butter makes it too fattening and greasy. Besides, the crust has lots of fat in it aleady. I watch my diet and try to make my deserts healthier and leaner. I would skip the butter caramel mixture next time and would mix apples with flour and brown sugar instead.

Russian Black Bread
This bread looks and tastes similar to black bread from motherland. It was a hit at our russian party. I change the recipe a little. I substitute oil for margarine and molasses for corn syrup and use 1 package of yeast. I also don't use bread machine. You will definately love this bread if you like rye bread!
