I am a single mom of a wonderful 6 year old boy. I am a mortgage officer for a large bank. I release stress by cooking...even though my "experiments" dont always come out as planned. I love preparing pastas and italian recipes. I enjoy trying more difficult recipes to serve to guests About 6 years ago (when I was new to cooking and entertaining)I decided to have my family over for Easter dinner. Everything was great except for my Strawberry cheesecake. I used a frozen pie crust and it did not dawn on me that you dont cook cheesecakes, so the crust would end up thawing and getting mushy. The cheesecake part was fabulous...the crust was a dissaster. My family still teases me about it.
