Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
This was good but I'm not sure if the pepper made any real difference.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
Super Easy!!!! These were sooo good. I took the advice of others and cut down the butter, I only used 2 tablespoons of butter which I brushed on. I also added about 1 tsp of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture. Mine were done in about 25 mins. They taste way better cooled!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Delicious and super easy to make! I froze the Reese Cups in the freezer to avoid any melting as I was pressing them into the cookie. I also put the dough into the fridge for a short period to make the dough easier to work with. This will be my volunteer to make cookie for any type of family gathering!

Cream Cheese Kolacky

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
I found the dough a little hard to work with, but adding more flour on my work surface helped a lot. I added a tsp of vanilla as others suggested. Also used water to help keep ends together. The parchment paper is a must, the apricot does tend to ooze out of the cookies a little. My Polish Husband loves them and he had been eating Kolacky all his life.

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
This was my first time making banana bread, I found this to be a very easy recipe. It came out very moist. I did as others suggested and used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar. Also I added 1 tsp of vanilla and 1 tbsp of cinnamon. I threw in about a cup of walnuts, Very tasty, next time I think I'll add chocolate chips!

Brandy Flamed Peppercorn Steak

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
This was definitely a restaurant quality steak! It was awesome. It really WOWed my husband! I felt like a gourmet cook after making this. I used whiskey as I didn't have brandy and it worked out just fine. I also used a light cream. Next time I will use less pepper it was quite a lot.

Devil's Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
My husband has been putting this on everything. Mine came out a little runny, I think I over cooked it. I think I cooked it for like 35 minutes waiting for it to thicken, and it never did! Next time I will only do the 12 minutes and see what happens. Update 6/9, I tried this again, but it still turned out runny, was actually a little better when I let it cook longer.

I add 1 can of drained mandarin oranges as well as 1 cup of nut topping, never disappointed!!! Update 5/8 added craisons this time was great once again!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
I made this last night, this was very good. My husband who is not a big eggplant eater loved it. I used Fat Free Mozzarella, I will use it again except for the top layer for it did not really melt. Will be making this again.

Quick Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
This was a very good and easy meal. Very tasty. I followed the recipe exactly, I just added a can of sliced mushrooms. This is one of my husband's favorite dishes, being that I never tasted this dish before I went with my hubby's 4 star rating. My 4 year even ate it and asked for more, and I have a very hard time getting her to eat any type of meat!

Pasta Primavera

I followed the recipe as is and it came out great. I did mix the milk and soup mix in microwave for 2mins as suggested previously. I also microwaved a bag of steamed mixed vegetables and threw that in at the end too. My family absolutely loved it!
