Rolled Flank Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
Will pre-cook the bacon next time even more. I used my Convention oven and this was done in 35 minutes. The bacon, although I partically pre-cooked was still underdone. I also will try with the garlic-herb cheese next time as that sounds great too.

Sparkling Punch

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
Made with lemon/lime selzer water and left out the sugar and it was excellent. Bright and refreshing. I added slieced limes, oranges and lemons for color - it was very pretty in the punch bowl. Will make again and will try with pink lemonade too.

French Toast Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Yum, Yum Yum. I made this several times and it always comes out wonderful. I cube the bread, have used frozen peaches and frozen blueberries or just peaches... Yum. Everyone who has had it raves. I have even made with the fat-free egg beaters and brown sugar splenda and it came out great for a ladies brunch where everyone was dieting. A real keeper!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
I topped with fresh cilantro and cheddar cheese - YUM YUM. I also used frozen corn rather than canned as that is what I had on-hand. Very tasty!

Butternut Squash Bisque

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
What an easy, cheap and delicous meal! Taking advice from other reviewers, I roasted my squash, I used 1/2 a bag of frozen carrots (that is all I had) and cooked those with the onion. I also used chicken broth and 1/2 a package of Fat Free Cream cheese. It was delicious - very creamy (used the food processor before I put the cream cheese in). Yummy. My 2 1/2 year old ate some too.

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
We had these for Christmas Morning and they are a new tradition. Delicious. I made them in a bundt pan and next time will use a 9 X 13 - I will also cut the sugar a bit as they were just a bit too sweet for our taste. I addded pecans and really liked that. I used the cinnabon clone icing from thise site to frost and will use about 1/2 next time as it made way too much. Really a great reciepe and couldn't be any easier!!

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I thought this was really good and my husband said this is "a definate make again". I followed some of the other reviewers advice and used 1/2 a bar of fat-free cream cheese (I had it left over, fat-free cream of mushroom soup, a dash of red pepper flakes and topped it with parmesan cheese and crushed ritz crackers. The browned topping was delish!!

Edible Play Dough

My 2 1/2 year old loves this - I didn't have any powered milk so I used fat-free dry coffee creamer and it worked fine. She is having a ball making all kinds of treats with it.

Very good... you could easily use something other than lobster. Shrimp would be very good in this recipe.

Broccoli Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
I really liked this, the friend I made it for wasn't as keen on it. I layered rice on the bottom of the casserole dish and I wish I would've mixed it all up as the rice was a bit dry (I pre-cooked the rice). I would also add more curry and I used frozen broccoli and it was done well. I plan to make again. P.S. I also used low-fat Mayo and Low-fat soup, it tasted fine

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
I used a 6 Lbs. Turkey Breast and cooked for 1 hour on HIGH and 5 Hours on Low and it was done perfectly. Also, instead of the onion soup, I used a Cajun Seasoning and rubbed the breast with olive oil. I added some broth and wish I hadn't, it made enough juice on its own. Delicious and very easy.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
I made this twice. The first time I took the other reviewers advice and used 1/2 white & brown sugar. I also added some vanilla (1 tbs.) It was great. I cooked then a touch longe than the recipe called for but they were great. The second time I followed the recipe exactly... they were OK. They seem underdone and the flavor is just OK.

Lemonade Punch

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2012
This was good - next time will make with just one can of pink lemonade as I used a shiraz and it was pretty sweet. I also froze the marchino cherries and surup into the ice mold and that surup may have over-sweetned.
