Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Absolutely delicious just as written. The first one to test it was my 3-yr-old grandson and he devoured it! I'm on my second bowl as we speak. I know this is going to be a regular addition to my menu. Thank you so much for a great soup recipe.

Fantastic Gorgonzola and White Wine Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
This recipe was devoured at a recent Christmas party. It has been requested that I make this for every family get-together from now on. I had a bottle of Reisling on hand, so that's what I used for the white wine. Delicious!! Even those who weren't crazy about bleu cheese loved it.

Gone with the Wind Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2001
I had a lot of fun making this cake, and the whole family enjoyed it. It was delicious all by itself, but when topped with fresh strawberries, it was out of this world! The best strawberry shortcake I've ever had!

Crackers a la Yvette

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2010
These are a huge hit! Made them with oyster crackers the first time and they were gone in a day. On the second batch, I used store brand corn and rice "chex" cereal, pretzels and peanuts. Delicious! I will cut down on the oil next time, however, as they are pretty greasy. Thank you for the recipe.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2013
Everyone in my family, including grandchildren ages 2,3 and 6 absolutely love this soup! I do only one thing differently from the recipe, and that is I cook the pasta in the soup instead of separately. The kids love it nice and thick, and this is definitely accomplished by doing this. Otherwise, I follow the recipe exactly. I've made it many times now and the leftovers always get eaten up. Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
This was good. I took another reviewer's suggestion and doubled the recipe adn cooked it in a 9X13 pan. I also cut the sugar in half and added vanilla and cinammon. This was still a bit too sweet for me, even with 1/2 the sugar.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
The first batch of these I followed the recipe exactly and they were delicious and devoured that day! I made a double batch on day 2, and, following suggestions from other reviewers, I kept the nutmeg at 3/4 tsp for the double batch and added a tsp of vanilla. I didn't think these could get better, but they did! Thanks for the great recipe.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
One of the best apple pies I've ever had! I, too, took the advice of others and added a bit of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. The crust was awesome, the apples were just right. Great pie! A definite keeper!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2008
This soup is fantastic! Even better the 2nd day. I served it in bread bowls and we dunked the bread in it....out of this world! The only change I made to the recipe was to add a bit more ham. This is now a family favorite. Thank you for the recipe.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2001
So simple, and soooo delicious! My father's bbq sauce recipe used to be the favorite for chicken in my house. That was until I began making these kabobs! There aren't usually many left over in my house!

Atlantic Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2001
Loved this recipe! At the last minute, my daughter called to say that she was coming over for dinner, so I threw in another can of creamed corn. It thickened it up a little better, and was absolutely delicious. I just emailed the recipe to my sister to try, too.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2013
Absolutely the best oatmeal raisin cookies I have ever baked and/or eaten. Delicious! The only slight change I made from the recipe was that my raisins didn't sit in the egg mixture for a whole hour. More like 20-30 minutes, but still soft and delicious. Thanks for a great recipe!

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2013
I made these just as the recipe is written and they are delicious. I wasn't feeling too good about the white flour and the cup of oil, however, so next time I made them with 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white and substituted apple sauce for 1/2 of the oil. Still delicious and now just a little bit healthier! Thanks for the recipe!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
This was absolutely delicious! Tastes exactly like jalapeno poppers! I took the advice of a previous reviewer and added some Planko bread crumbs to my cheese and cooked in the oven. Made for a wonderful crunchy crust. Everyone at our Saturday night card game asked for the recipe. Thanks for a great recipe!

Gramma's Apple Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2005
This was the very first time my dessert was completely wiped out at the Saturday Night card game! It's been requested that I make it again and again. After reading the reviews, I found a different recipe for the vanilla sauce, but other than that, I didn't change a thing. Thanks, Meshel!

Easy Mashed Potato and Roasted Vegetable Enchiladas

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2001
This is now a family favorite. Delicious! I get my youngest daughter to help me roll the enchiladas, giving us some great "mother/daughter" time. I've learned to cut back a bit on the stuffing, because I always had so much left over after filling all my enchiladas. These taste even better reheated the day after!
