Blueberry Cream Muffins

Very happy with this recipe....only adjustments I made were adding 2 tsp baking powder to the dry ingredients (why? because i have seen this recipe listed elsewhere calling for the baking powder, so i figured it wouldnt hurt to throw it in), I used 3-4 cups blueberries (frozen by myself) and topped muffins generously with turbinado sugar before baking. yielded 33 muffins and they were deliecious. I will use this muffin recipe again.

couldnt be any easier to make. It was very rich and delicious. Different from your typical chicken & gravy pot pie, but still very tasty.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

great cornbread! i doubled the recipe in a 9x13 pan. only change was I used 1 cup of sugar for the double recipe. it cooked faaser than i expected. 30 minutes at 350. my dh thought it was a bit too sweet still, not me though. kids loved it.

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Lentil and Smoked Sausage Soup

My family really enjoys this recipe. We are not vegetarians, so we use regular smoked sausage. I also generally subsitute ham base for the vegetable base. I have made the recipe without the sausage to make it very economical and that works really well too.

Can't Leave Alone Bars

I have made these bars many times over the last several years and they have always been a success. Yes, they are very sweet, but that doesn't bother me.....or anyone else Ive served them too for that matter. Very easy to make and delicious!

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Simply one of the best frosting I've tried. Anyone whom I served it to, loved it as well. It's a favorite on carrot cake or chocolate cake. But quite frankly it's good enough to eat by the spoon.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

This frosting went over well with my family. I served it on a apple cake. It is very rich and creamy....as opposed to a light and fluffy sort of frosting..... I tried it after adding 2 cups of sugar and decided to add a third cup. That is simply preference though.
