Baked Ham

Don't use this recipe for a spiral ham. My ham was bone dry and I even marinated the ham in the Coke overnight. I did as many other suggest figuring it could only make it more moist. I also followed the idea of others to cover it in brown sugar before baking. However, even at 275 degrees, 4 hours was WAY too long for this. I can only assume it was because it was a spiral sliced ham and that is why I gave the recipe 3 stars. Perhaps with a regular ham it would have been great. Just want to let others out there know that it didn't work with a 10lb. spiral!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

My family LOVES this! I followed the recipe exactly as written except that I purchased a pork butt as many others suggested. Meat fell off the bones after cooking in crock pot all day on low. Used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce and it was a hit. Froze some for future use and that tasted great as well. Already have a request to bring it for a party next weekend!

Hot Crab Dip

Made this for the first time last night and everyone loved it. The only changes I made was to half it since I only had one can of crab and I also substituted Old Bay for the hot sauce. It's a new staple recipe for sure! Very quick and easy to make.

Meatball Stew

I made this for my husband and he loved it. The only difference I made was to omit the potatoes since he doesn't like them in his stews. It was a little soupy, most likely because of the missing potatoes, but it was extremely flavorful and super easy to make. I'll be making this again.

Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds

I made these to use for gifts this holiday season and I have had rave reviews on them from everyone who had tried them. I would definitely recommend them to all as they are easy to make. I did add the 1/2 cup of brown sugar and the vanilla that others recommended. I got a big container of almonds from Costco and it was enough to make 2 batches. A winner recipe and many thanks for posting it!
