Baked Flan

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2014
I'm Hispanic and everyone loved this recipe. I have another recipe I use but this one has a creamer texture. I would melt the sugar in the baking pans. The sugar could be reduced to at least 1/2 cup but it really depends on what size pan you're baking it in. You need enough to coat the base of the pan.

Fabulous Fruit Salad

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
I went with key lime yogurt (also make it with berry, but haven't tasted it yet), added green grapes, and used pecans instead of walnuts. Everyone loved it and it was nice not to have plain fruit salad again. Great fruit salad and it's still healthy. The celery gives it great texture. I added cranberries, nuts and oranges about an hour before I served it. Adding apples straight to yogurt did stop them from turning.

Coconut Cream Cake I

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2011
EVERYONE who tried this cake, loved this cake. It is going to be one of my favorites for sure. I might try a little less condensed milk (It was on the verge of too sweet). It was very moist, sweet and the whipped icing is a must with the cake itself being so sweet.

Fresh Tomato Salsa

we can't even keep some for the next day. 2-3 chiles are good, but its great without the chiles as well.

Sugar-Free Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
I think they taste like splenda, completely. My husband thought they were pretty good. I'm not a big fan, but I don't usually make flour-free and sugar-free cookies.

great recipe. They came out perfect. They aren't as sweet as the ones we get at the fair, but just sweet enough.

Kabob Marinade

This is so good, no sauce required. For best results marinade overnight. We used it with serloin for kabobs, mouth watering...

Cake Mix Cookies VII

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
These were very tasty. I don't think the are as good as the real thing, but they work for a quick cookie recipe. They are softer then a regular cookie, so these are great for little ones.

No Roll Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
It's a shortbread cookie, which is my favorite cookie. It was wounderful surprise. It taste great, but I wouldn't try to do cut out. If you want the sugar, I would roll the 1 1/2" log of dough in colored sugar then slice them about 1/4" thick. I'm only giving it 4 stars, because it's not a sugar cookie

Golden State Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
I put the mushrooms in the food processor for a spin or two. Makes it easier for the kids to eat and I like having mushrooms in every bite. Great tasting soup and super easy recipe. I think I whipped it up in 15 minutes

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
I made them 1/4 inch thick and would suggest only rolling out dough twice at the most before refrigerating it again. Great tasting cookie. Easy recipe. I dipped the legs in white chocolate as someone suggested, which was so good they were requested over the holidays.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
I pretty much mix it all up the day before (don't need to do all the step) and toss it in the frig. I put it in the pot on high about an hour and a half before I want it ready. I couldn't step away from the pot the first time I made it. Everyone loved it. It's not too spicy. I did use 12 oz cans of chicken to be more filling, but it taste great with 10 oz cans.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
These are very rich. I made them with Devils food cake, which made them a little too moist. I couldn't dip the balls into chocolate, so I had to drizzle the chocolate over the cake balls.

Raspberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
The best french toast I ever had! I used texas toast and instead cream cheese inside, I drizzled cream cheese icing on top. Perfect! I made it with a few different fruit filling, all were great. Thanks for the recipe =)

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
My entire family loves this recipe. Oven baked Mac & Cheese is so good. The Jack cheese is what makes it stand out from the rest. I like it more creamy, so I leave the eggs out. It looks like a lot of cheese at first but it will bake down.

Easy Cheese Ball II

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
So easy and taste great. I made it for my family Halloween party, and I made one change. Instead of any nuts, I shaped it into pumpkin (chill overnight) and covered it with crushed gold fish crackers. A thin slice of a green pepper to top it and it was perfect. I had to make two more by request the following week. The ranch was perfect, not too much at all.

Blonde Brownies II

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
I doubled the recipe. I did have to lower the temperature to 325 and let it cook for about 40 minutes. Otherwise it was overcooked on the top and completely undercooked underneath. Everyone loved them. Very easy recipe, takes about 5 minutes to whip together.
