Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
A wonderful recipe. I have found that the teriyaki sauce is good on shrimp and pork, as well. I haven't tried it on steak yet, but am planning on doing so soon. I have made this several times and have started doubling the sauce recipe and I freeze half of it for future use.

Magic Peanut Butter Middles

WOW!!! This is an awesome recipe. My kids loved them, even the one who doesn't normally like cookies. Actually, everyone who tried them loved them. I wouldn't change the recipe a bit. Definitely a keeper.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Wow! This was absolutely wonderful. My kids loved it, and so did my mother-in-law. I wouldn't change anything about this recipe.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
This was absolutely fabulous! Very easy to make and my husband practically raved over it (which is very seldom). Every one of my children gobbled it up, too. I tossed the noodles with some butter and parmesan like another reviewer suggested. I also only had 1/2 pound of spaghetti, but it seemed to go over very well. The dish wasn't too dry. I am definitely going to make this again and again. Thanks so much for sharing!

Angel Pie

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
This was very good! I sweetened the whipped cream a little with sugar and added some vanilla and it was a perfect balance with the tartness of the lemon. I did make a mistake, and didn't grease the pie plate enough, so the meringue crust stuck horribly! The taste did, however, make up for that little mishap. I will definitely make this again.

Crawfish Etouffee Like Maw-Maw Used to Make

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Dee-licious! This was the first time I made etoufee and it turned out fantastic. I added some celery and Tony Chachere's but stuck to the recipe otherwise. My children absolutely loved it and my husband, who is the toughest critic, said it was "good". I will definitely make it again and maybe I'll try it with shrimp.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
This was pretty darn good! My husband even liked it, and he is the pickiest in the family. I did tweak it a little bit, but stuck to the basics: I sauteed the onion along with some bell pepper, celery, and minced garlic. Instead of doing the alternating layers, I put all of the rice in first, then the chicken, then the soup mixture, then the cheese. I also didn't use as much cheese as the recipe called for - I only used about a cup at the most. I took another reviewer's advice and covered it with foil for the first 30 minutes then uncovered for the remaining 10 minutes. It turned out great, with a bit of sour cream on top. I think I will make this again, and maybe add a can of corn and possibly some black beans. I also agree with another review that said this would be good as a filler for burritos. I think I'll try that today for lunch. :) Thanks so much for sharing!

Egg Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I liked this recipe pretty well. My husband didn't like the mushy consistency, though, and it wasn't very good left over, in my opinion. My kids liked it, though, and that was a plus. Thanks for sharing!

Granny's Cherokee Casserole

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
This was good. My husband didn't care for all the cheese. My children and I all liked it, but I don't know if I'll make it again.

Scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
This was absolutely delicious! I've never had "real" strawberry shortcake and was NOT disappointed when I tried this. I followed the recipe exactly (but did add 1 tsp vanilla) and I will definitely be making this again. Thanks for sharing!

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
Fantastic! I only had one banana but the pancakes still turned out great. In fact, I think by using only one banana, the pancakes were not as mushy as some of the other reviews have said. I also added a little vanilla. My kids really loved them. I'm keeping this recipe!

Mushroom Sauce Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
This is a fantastic recipe. I only tweaked it a little bit by adding some seasonings to the gravy. I also used two big pork steaks instead of chops and it worked well. My whole family enjoyed it and even my "pickiest little eater" cleaned her plate.
