My Allrecipes Shout Out!

It's Always a Good Time For Good Food!

Usually it's this time of year that most people start thinking about eating more healthy! Spring is just around the corner. Before you know it summer will be here also. And that's when the shorts and sleeveless shirts start to appear on the horizon. We not only want to look our best in our summer attire, but we want to feel our best too! Eating lighter, more healthy meals, is the way I start to get ready for the warmer weather.

Enter Mazola Oil to the Rescue!

I received a bottle of their oil in the mail as part of the Allrecipes Brand Ambassador Program. I've used Mazola ever since I first started cooking. My Mom also always used Mazola. So it's a brand that I've known and loved for many years. But what I especially loved about this assignment was the recipes that were created by Mazola. Check them all out here...http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chicken-and-broccoli-fettuccini-skillet-dinner/morerecipeslikethis.aspx<

I decided to try one healthier type of recipe and one that was more of a 'comfort food' dish. The first one I tried was this one called Cinnamon Vanilla Granola. I used this delicious granola in a yogurt parfait. Here is the recipe...http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cinnamon-vanilla-granola/detail.aspx<  This was easy and perfect for breakfast or even as a snack.

The second recipe was Chicken and Broccoli Fettuccini Skillet. I used peas instead of broccoli. It was creamy, cheesy, pasta goodness. Check out that recipe here...http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chicken-and-Broccoli-Fettuccini-Skillet-Dinner/Detail.aspx<

Mazola is known for being heart healthy. Read up on all the benefits of using Mazola in your everyday cooking here...http://www.mazola.com/healthandwellness.aspx<  And check out the other products Mazola produces such as Olive oil, Cooking Sprays and Bouillon.

So whether I'm trying to eat healthy or just making some good old fashioned comfort food, Mazola is the product I use and trust. I know the taste and quality will always be top notch!
