About this Cook
My name is Martina and I'm 24 years old. I enjoy cooking mainly because I like trying different things. My favorite foods are chicken and pasta and I enjoy almost every kind of tomato sauce (spaghetti sauce, ketchup, you name it, I like it). I'm hoping to find some great recipes on here to add to my permanent recipe collection.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up, I remember my mom and aunt getting together a few days before Christmas to make loads of cookies. We had tons of leftover cookies after Christmas and I enjoyed eating every single one of them.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips
I made this yesterday. Instead of raspberries, I used blackberries. The actual fruit is really good though a bit too sweet. As for the cinnamon chips, "Stacey's" (brand name) makes some already premade so I tried those. They're a bit too hard so next time I'll try making my own.

Apple Dumplings I
I'm not the biggest fan of desserts. So when I was asked to make one, I decided on this recipe since any dessert served with ice cream is the dessert for me. After trying this, I have to say that I'm hooked. This is without a doubt the easiest, most delicious dessert I have ever made.
