Three Berry Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2013
This pie was sooo good. I used all fresh fruit, and added blackberries. I let it cool for 2-3 hours before slicing and it was still way too runny. Put it in fridge over night, and it was a little better the next day, but still runny. Will make again with 1/4c cornstarch as others suggested. I also used the "Grandma's Secret Pie Crust" recipe, which was perfect.

Kale and Quinoa Salad

I can't believe how good this salad is. I used black kale, and didn't have dijon, so I used honey mustard instead. It is so delicious!

Goat Cheese Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2013
This was so good and so easy. I used a salmon tail and cut it into 5 pieces, then stuffed each peice. I didn't have dijon mustard, so I used honey mustard instead, no mayo. I also crumbled some goat cheese on top after baking and broiled it for a few minutes.

Philly Steak Sandwich

Great seasoning. I used provolone cheese instead of swiss, and subbed mushrooms for the green peppers, just for taste preference. Turned out very good. The kids especially liked it.

Phenomenal Chicken and Pasta in Creamy Pesto Sauce

I've made this several times, and love it. I use a jar of sun-dried tomato basil pesto instead of making my own, just to make it a little easier. Delicious!

Coconut Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2012
Didn't have cumin seeds, so I just melted the butter and cooked the chicken in that, leaving out the oil in the next step. I also added half a red bell pepper that I had in my fridge. This turned out very good. Will def make again.

Southern Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2012
I made this a couple nights ago. This is the best Chicken and Dumplings I've ever made! So good. The dumplings were too salty for me, so next time I will cut the salt in half, but the overall flavor was excellent.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Will cut sugar in half next time, but otherwise excellent recipe. Not spicy, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll have to modify. Perfect for kids though.

Chicken Tinga Tostados

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2012
I made these last night, and they were sooo good. I've been craving them all day, haha. I followed someone else's suggestion to add 1tsp cinnamon to the tomato/pepper mixture. I only used about 1/3 can of chipotle peppers, and it was plenty spicy. It made a lot. I also made guacamole and pico de gallo (both off this site) and used those for toppings. mmmm
