Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
It's a sweet sauce but very easy to make - and you aren't marinating it. You add it just before you put the pork in the oven. I did double the sauce for my six pork chops. Very good, very quick. Perfect busy Mom recipe!

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2013
Absolutely the best frosting I have ever made/tasted! We had left overs and stored it in the fridge. It was still good a month after I made it. Yum!!

I love the cut up bananas instead of mashing them - makes for a wonderful bread!

Crab Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2013
I have made this salad several times now. Absolutely wonderful. I would suggest you cut your crab meat (I have been using imitation crab meat) very fine. We have been eating it on a crusty Kaiser type roll. It's a fav!

Pork Butt Roast with Vegetables

This was fantastic. I heard nothing but rave reviews from my kids and husband - and many compliments about what a great cook I am :) Thanks for a great and EASY recipe. It was moist, fall apart tender and very flavorful.

Green Pozole

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
I had some left over pork loin from the night before and made this Pozole over the stove without using the chicken. It was AMAZING. It didn't need to cook very long for all the flavors to meld - I had maybe 20 mins of simmer time. All of my children loved it- that rarely happens! :) I used tortilla strips, avocado, shredded red cabbage, cilantro, sour cream and cheese as optional garnishes, but truthfully, I don't think it needed more than the cilantro!

Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2013
Too much heat for me from the red pepper flakes. I will omit them next time, but other than that - delish!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2012
It was good. Too salty for me as written, but I imagine working with ham you may not know how much salt you will need. My suggestion would be to add a little at a time and keep tasting as you go. I will try making it again.

Honey Curried Roasted Chicken and Vegetables

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
Loved it. Next time I will decrease the honey (it was a tad too sweet) and increase the red pepper flakes. The chicken was fabulous!

Sylvia's Ribs

Loved this sauce - a little sweet then the spicy comes at the end. Used Country Pork ribs and they were falling off the bone. Will be keeping this one around!

Hot Spiced Cider

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
We loved this! I used a crockpot to warm the cider and wrapped the ingredients in cheese cloth instead of placing in a coffee pot. Worked great and I plan on making it in the future.

We loved this! The turkey turned out great... and the gravy was superb! I used this same recipe to roast a chicken and it was just as good. Great job!

Ambrosia Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
Good recipe that you can add or subtract what you like and it always turns out well. I like to add more mandarin oranges and some sour cream to counteract the sweetness a bit. Always a hit with the kids :) Ok, and with Grandma too!

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2008
Good recipe though mine turned out too salty. Next time I will reduce the salt significantly and let people add it after according to their taste. I also prefer this recipe without the cereal topping and it works great.

This salad was WONDERFUL. I doubled it for a party and served it with crackers. The salad went a long way and was close to gone when the party ended. LOVED IT.
