Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2001
This recipe is fantastic! My husband is not easy to please in the "food" area.... he is a very picky eater. When I want to make him a special treat, this is what I make. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS AWESOME RECIPE!

Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: May 7, 2001
This recipe is fantastic. There are only 2 of us in the house so when I make it, I freeze half the sausage mixture and save it for another day.

House Fried Rice

Reviewed: May 18, 2001
This recipe was great, I didn't add any meat, just the vegetables and it was still very good. I froze my cooked rice before mixing it in with the vegetables and it made the rice less "pasty".

Campfire Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2002
This recipe is fantastic. I made them on a camping trip and they were a hit. I sprayed the aluminum foil with Pam as someone had mentioned the potatoes stick. I used a lot more cheese than the recipe called for. I made two batches and used 2 cups of cheese.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2002
These taste fantastic. I made them last night to bring to a party this weekend. It was a little difficult to mix the confectioner's sugar with the other ingredients. The kitchen was a little messy by the time I was done. The end result was worth it.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2002
I had trouble with this recipe. It was way too juicy. I used one head of broccoli first and then added another and it was still too juicy. I have had broccoli salad before and it was fantastic. I didn't like this at all.

Indoor S'mores

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2002
I thought this recipe was terrible. Once the marshmallow/chocolate mixture melted, it hardened way too fast to get it mixed in with the cereal. I went straight from the stove to the bowl and it had hardened before I could get it mixed in. I also didn't care for the flavor or texture very much.

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2004
My husband and I loved this recipe. The second time I made it, I substituted a veal/pork/beef mixture for the meatballs instead of the beef alone. Excellent!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
Fantastic recipe. Very simple and very moist. This has become the only meatloaf recipe we use in my house. As a matter of fact when anyone wants meatloaf now, they ask for Rempel Meatloaf! HA HA! Thank you.

Salsa Cheese Boule Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
Great recipe. My dip had chunks of cream cheese in it when it was done because I didn't mix well enough. Next time I will try using a beater to mix it.

No Time to Cook Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
I didn't like this at all. The chicken shredded and there was too much sauce for the chicken and I didn't like the flavor either.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
Super recipe. I love the fact that for once a recipe actually came out the way it looks in the picture. The only change I made was to add an extra egg as others had suggested.

Baked Zucchini Chips

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2007
Excellent recipe. I cut mine at about 1/8 inch so I needed more of the breadcrumbs. I also added garlic and onion powder as someone had suggested. Now I just need to get my hands on some more zucchini from someone's garden.

Egg and Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2007
Excellent recipe. I make mine a little healthier by using low fat crescent rolls, egg beaters, low fat cheeses (the no fat cheeses don't melt very well) and turkey sausage.

Broccoli Casserole III

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2007
This recipe was pretty good but I think the processed cheese was a little too overpowering. I'm wondering if this can be made with just regular shredded cheese.

Best Easy Chicken Croquettes

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
These croquettes were excellent. I made the recipe exactly as written. I used left over grilled chicken breasts. These were so good we didn't even need the sauce that is recommended. I don't know if we're just big eaters but two were definitely not enough for each of us. I will double the recipe next time.

Pizza On The Grill II

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2007
This is awesome pizza. I followed the recipe exactly. I just used different toppings. The only difficult part is trying to get the raw dough onto the grill. I put it directly on the grill and cooked at the lowest temperature. The grill marks are what makes this pizza worth the effort.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
I love this recipe. The only change I made was to make the balsamic vinegar a glaze that you add at the end. In a very small saucepan, add 1 cup balsamic vinegar and 1 tbsp sugar. Bring to a boil and then allow to simmer, stirring frequently, until it has reduced by 1/2. It should stick to the back of a spoon. Remove to a cool container. Then I just drizzle the balsamic glaze over the finished dish.
