Grilled Potatoes and Onion

Delish. Finished the potatoes by turning the grill up to high and burning them a bit. 15 minutes on each side on medium and then 5 minutes on high. Yummo!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Very bad recipe.......used the 1/4 cup to scoop the dough onto the cookie sheet to bake. First of all, using the 1/4 cup scoop method, only 12 to 15 cookies could be made, the recipe says 24. The cookies were burnt on the bottom and raw in the middle.

French Onion Soup I

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Loved these. I had always followed the chili's boneless buffalo wing recipe from Top Secret Restaurant Recipes. These were way better. I love the idea of not putting the cooked fingers on paper towels. Putting them on cooling racks made a huge difference. I always had a problem with the breading falling off but that did not happen when using the cooling rack. I definitely use more butter than hot sauce because I don't like them that spicy.

French Onion Soup Gratinee

I halved the recipe. There was not nearly enough broth for my liking. I think next time I would double the broth called for. The broth was all soaked up by the toasted bread I put on top. Also, the broth was too sweet.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Excellent sauce recipe. The only change I made was to add 3 tbsp of chili sauce to sweeten it up a bit. The sauce is very thick.

Soft Gingersnaps

The only change I made to the recipe was I used Fleischmann's Unsalted Butter because it is dairy free and my kids can't have dairy. I also added a little bit more salt due to the lack of salt in the butter. I made 144 servings of these cookies and they came out perfectly. I find that sometimes when you double a recipe you have to more than double the spices - not this recipe - they were perfect!

Leftover Chicken Croquettes

On the advice of others, I added basil, garlic powder, oregano and another egg. I also decided to bake them as suggested. Didn't work. Mine after baking for 20 minutes were really hard. I sprayed the pan and the top of them with Pam before putting in the oven - maybe that was my mistake. I loved the taste however next time I will panfry them.

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

I am confused. I followed the recipe exactly and ended up with a cookie that I couldn't get off the baking sheet without it falling apart. They were quite brown at 8 minutes so I took them out and ended up with a heck of a mess. I must have done something wrong.

Garlic Bread Mama Rita's Way!

Since I tried this recipe once, I can't stop making it. Absolutely without a doubt the best garlic bread ever. I never have fresh basil so I always use dried parsley. And I don't even know what garlic paste is so I just use minced garlic. I have used this on hamburger buns, whole wheat bread. It works on everything!

Supreme Bagel Pizzas

These are a bit better if you toast them in the oven first. Usually I broil them for a very short time to brown then add the toppings. The bagel isn't mushy from the sauce if you do this.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

I love this recipe. The only change I made was to make the balsamic vinegar a glaze that you add at the end. In a very small saucepan, add 1 cup balsamic vinegar and 1 tbsp sugar. Bring to a boil and then allow to simmer, stirring frequently, until it has reduced by 1/2. It should stick to the back of a spoon. Remove to a cool container. Then I just drizzle the balsamic glaze over the finished dish.

Pizza On The Grill II

This is awesome pizza. I followed the recipe exactly. I just used different toppings. The only difficult part is trying to get the raw dough onto the grill. I put it directly on the grill and cooked at the lowest temperature. The grill marks are what makes this pizza worth the effort.

Best Easy Chicken Croquettes

These croquettes were excellent. I made the recipe exactly as written. I used left over grilled chicken breasts. These were so good we didn't even need the sauce that is recommended. I don't know if we're just big eaters but two were definitely not enough for each of us. I will double the recipe next time.
