Naan

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Super easy (but time consuming). I accidentally "proofed" the yeast as another reviewer discussed (I had to go to the store to buy milk after I already added the sugar), and it came out perfect.

Creamy Carrot Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
Didn't even add the cream! It was already super creamy. Added a little more pepper though. It was perfect!

not my favorite. Tastes like jelly instead of pie.

Leg o' Lamb with Lemon and Rosemary

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
Thought this recipe came out very tasty indeed. The lemonade helps to create a crusty-goodness of sugar on the lamb. Will definitely do this again!

Roasted Green Chile Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
This recipe was excellent! I was born in Santa Fe, but I haven't had green chile stew since I was 10, so I don't quite remember how it's supposed to taste, but this was pretty darn tasty. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars only because I wish there was less broth, but that's the whole point of the stew right?....not really the recipe's fault. :P

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
Very tasty!!! I've never had this soup at any other italian restaurant, so now I'm curious. Is this better than theirs? Hard to imagine! Followed the recipe, except used hot italian sausage and no red pepper. I think next time I'll add the whole bunch of kale.

Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
Very tasty! I used 1/2 whole wheat flour, and substituted 1/2 the butter with strawberry yogurt like another reviewer did, and it came out perfect! Too many poppy seeds for me though, and I agree with the subtle lemon flavor that another reviewer said, but still very tasty!

Chinese Spareribs

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
My asian boyfriend said these were pretty darn close to perfect! I put them in a crockpot for ~4 hours and the meat was falling off the bone. If you want to do the crockpot method, I recommend to add more sauce, to cover the meat completely, but make sure to leave some extra room for the juices from the meat to fill the rest of the pot.

perfectly crunchy.....the only thing is that it takes a LONG time to prepare....but maybe I'm just slow. :)

Onion Chicken in Balsamic Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
I have to say, I did this dish according to the original instructions, unlike most of the other cooks, and it was not spectacular by any means. It tasted like plain baked chicken... maybe it would've tasted better if I put spaghetti sauce on it.

Rosemary Pesto-Crusted Lamb Steaks

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This was perfect! Especially with the feta cheese mashed potatoes on this website. I must still be a novice cook since I couldn't get my "pesto" to puree, but the crumb mixture that I ended up with still was perfect on top of the lamb!

Feta Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
So, when I made the recipe as is, I felt that I couldn't taste the feta, just like some other people. But I am a cheese fan so maybe I just need more cheese. Either way, I just kept adding A LOT more cheese and a little more whipped cream until I came up with the right combination. I probably doubled both amounts in the end. It turned out perfect with the rosemary pesto-crusted lamb shanks that are on this website!
