Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad
This recipe is excellent!! I only have a couple of things that i want to add. First is that the finished product doesn't look to appetizing, probably because the yellowish color of the oil is too prominent. Adding some diced up cranberries and letting stand for a couple of hours will add some nice coloring to the mixture. Using red onions in place of the plain will have the same effect. Secondly, instead of toasting the almond with butter, toasting them in the toaster oven for 5 minutes will give it that toasty flavor minus the grease. I used left over pecans from the pecan pie and it blended well with the dressing. The amount of sugar can be adjusted, too, to the level of sweetness desired. This recipe is a hit every time!!!

Real Homemade Tamales
This recipe was very easy to follow. I replaced plain water with the broth made by boiling the pork meat (cooked onion and all) when making my chili mixture and added extra dried chile pods to thicken the sauce so there was no need to strain. This added extra flavor to the meat when mixed in together. My family just loved it!

my family loves this recipe so much that they don't let me try anything else! One thing that you've got to remember to do is keep basting it about 10 minutes into baking otherwise it will get to dry. Great recipe...thank you for sharing it!!!
