Egg in a Hole

Never made it with bacon grease always butter. We called it hole in the bread. I add a slice of cheese as soon as it comes out of the pan and serve it with corned beef hash fried crisp and OJ. Love it. Nice childhood memories.

Blueberry Sauce

Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

This was so very good. Even my husband loved it. I followed the recipe almost to a T. I didn't have red wine so I substituted 1 can Budweiser with Clamato juice. The heartiness and flavor of this stew was worth the exta work. thank you so much for a wonderful recipe.

Easy Strata and Variations

OMG was this ever fabulous. I used turkey sausage, mushrooms, minced onions (all I had) used all the cheese in the house (cheddar, swiss, romano & parmesan) didn't have half & half used 1 pint heavy cream & 2 cups 2% milk. This was fabulous I will make over and over again. Thank you.

Tater Tot Bake

I made a few changes.. but all the credit goes to the base of this recipe. It is flexible with so many things you can do to it. I added garlic powder, onion powder, corn and colby cheese. I mixed some tater tots in and put the rest on top. No milk; extra soup and mixed everything together. Thank you for a great recipe.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

My Best Clam Chowder

I don't eat clam Chowder, but I made it for my husband who loves it. But he asked that I not make it again - he wasn't very satisfied, he ate one bowl & told me to throw the rest away. Probably difference in taste buds. I don't know!

Egg Rolls

My husband is a Shrimp egg roll lover & I have a hard time finding them in the store for him. But then I found this recipe on this site & he got very excited when he seen the recipe & even did most of the work making them. The only thing we changed was we bought both wonton wrappers & egg roll wrappers because he preffered the egg roll wrappers he said they were easier to work with. He absolutely LOVED them. Next time we will make another batch & freeze some he said 2 to a package for a quick fix.he's already talking of making them again & it had only been a week. Thank-you for this wonderful recipe from both my husband & I.

Cherry Cheesecake

This is the only cheesecake my husband will eat. I have been making this for him for years. The only problem with this recipe is that I have to make this when he is not home,because like a child he can not wait until it sets. (Ha-Ha) Tip: Do not try to use already softened cream cheese,be patient & wait for the pkg to soften. As I have tried this in a hurry & the pie does not set up well.

Hollandaise Sauce

This is so very good but I have to triple this recipe. We like a lot of Hollandaise Sauce on a cajun breakfast I make. They used to serve it in a restaraunt we use to go to until they closed up.So now this is my version & I think I am very close to theirs. Thanks to your Hollandaise recipe .

Guy Approved Meatloaf

I liked this recipe but I was out of potato chips & used crushed corn flakes. My husband wasn't crazy about it so next time i'll leave out the cayenne pepper & it will be great for me & to bad for him.
