Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
These were very very good! I made a few modifications based on other reviews - made them into 12 muffins instead of a loaf (baked at 325 for 25 minutes) and added 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ground ginger and 1/4 tsp nutmeg. I also sprinkled a bit of raw sugar on top before baking which gave them just a bit of a sweet crunch! Delicious!!!!!!

Sunshine Morning Muesli

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2008
I've been looking for a recipe like this for a while now and this one is perfect! Only made a couple of modifications - used dried cranberries instead of raisins and added about a teaspoon of slivered almonds along with the walnuts. Delicious!

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
I'm not big into "traditional" Irish Soda Bread, but my husband and I loved this recipe! It has the perfect amount of sweetness and it holds up really well with a hearty meal!

This recipe is awesome! I used gorgonzola instead of blue cheese and a cabernet instead of the port and it turned out deliciously!

Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
I made this for a wine pairing dinner party (paired with a German Riesling) and it was a HUGE hit! The sweet wine was perfect with this salad.

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2008
I've made this several times now and it is always a big hit. A couple of small changes - I used about 3/4 lb of Italian sausage, canned whole tomatoes instead of fresh and added some crushed red pepper flakes. I also increased the amount of water and beef stock to make up for the extra sausage. A real winner!!

These were very good! Along with the spinach and goat cheese I added some sundried tomatoes - loved the extra flavor and texture!
