I work fulltime and am a Mom to 3 boys, ranging in ages from 24 to 8 years old. My husband and I enjoy watching our boys play sports, there's nothing better! I enjoy cooking, grilling, baking and am decent at it, I just wish I had more time to do it! I have a huge recipe collection and have many recipes from this site in my collection, you can find anything here!

Sunday is usually a big family dinner day at my house, I start planning Saturday afternoon.

I make fabulous desserts, and am known for my cheescake and turtle cakes.
My cooking tragedies
I love ribs but for some reason I am not great at making them, the times that I have served them for guests everyone was nice about it, but they turned out terrible! I will keep trying, I have read several interesting recipes on this site and I am going to try them!

Pecan Pie Bars I
OMG!! I made this recipe today trying to re-create a pecan bar cookie that I bought at a Bakery, this is the one!! I read the reviews and changed the servings to 24 and baked in a 9X13 pan. I did this not because I don't have a jelly roll pan, but because I knew I would eat all of it myself(kind of kidding!)that and using real butter are the only changes that I made. Make this today, it is a very easy, Superstar recipe!

Sweet Cornbread Cake
I made this yesterday to go with chili... OMG, this is the best cornbread I have ever eaten, let alone made! I can't believe that I actually made something so delish! I followed the recipe exactly but halved it and put it in a 7X11 Pyrex brownie pan and baked it for 30 minutes. Absolutely perfect!

Peanut Butter Bars I
I made these yesterday for a football party. I needed something quick so I just threw these together. I followed others advice and only used 1 stick plus 2 Tbs butter. I used a 13X9 and an 8X8 square pan because I wanted them to cover a platter and I didn't want them too thick,I also sprayed the pan with Pam. I also found out(too late) that I only had not quite a cup of confectioners sugar, so I added about a half of a can of Duncan Hines white frosting. I put these in the freezer for about 45 minutes to firm up before I left and they were perfect. They were gone in minutes and everyone raved about these, they almost couldn't believe that I made them and it only took me a few minutes! I used Jif creamy peanut butter, real butter and good quality milk chocolate chips, maybe the quality of ingredients that some people used made them turn out less than perfect. The texture and taste of these was amazing...Thanks so much for this recipe!
