Egg Drop Soup (Better than Restaurant Quality!)

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
Great recipe! The sesame oil that the recipe called for seemed like a lot to me so I just put a few drops in. I also don't use chicken broth (I never can get through it all in time), instead I used chicken bullion powder. Delicious!

Pasta with Gorgonzola and Sweet Onion

Very tasty! I may try this again with pecans. Warning, when you add the balsamic vinegar to the mixture while it's still really hot, the oil jumps everywhere. Eep!

Creamy Spinach Pasta

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
Very tasty and is great for leftovers. The first time I made this, I had my doubts because it smelled funny, second time I used vegetable broth instead of chicken and smelled better; tasted awesome both times! Except my pasta looked brown and not white like in the picture, I think that's the balsamic vinegar.

Balsamic Cream Sauce

I didn't care for this. All the different flavors clashed. Plus like another commenter said, the grated cheese didn't mix well with the cream sauce, even though I added it a little at a time.

Ginger Orange Glazed Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
I really really enjoyed this recipe. The only trouble I had was the glaze burnt on the aluminum foil and set my smoke detector off. Once I wrestled my the meat from the gooey burnt mess, it was delicious. I served this on ginger infused rice (I added a few pieces of chopped ginger root to the rice cooker). I'll be sure to cook this with a special someone ;)

Quick Creamy Spinach and Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
It was really good, but I used fresh tomatoes, which made the sauce really watery. The recipe seemed bland so I also added in some cubes of chicken, some garlic, fresh basil, and nutmeg. Next time I'll try it with less tomatoes, or with canned tomatoes like the recipe called for!
