These Cookies are the best in Oatmeal Cookies. Perfect description of these are moist, chewy, and great with a glass of milk. Not too thin and not too thick. I like my cookies chewy and bendy and these are exactly on target. I took to a function last night and as I picked the container up from the table, several people asked me for my secret ingredient. It was like they were totally waiting to find the owner of the recipe. The secret is not in the ingredients but it's the soaking of raisins and softening of butter. Butter needs to soften naturally while the raisins are soaking. I actually used margarine and it turned out fine. Also, let set on the cookie sheets for a few minutes to set up before removing. Oh, and if you toast the pecans before adding to the recipe, it goes over the top! Awesome recipe!
