Skillet Cookies I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
These were really good. Kids loved them. The only things I changed was that we didn't have dates so I used dried blueberries and I hate having so much white sugar in a recipe so I replaced it with all brown sugar and they turned out tasting GREAT. Thanks for the delish simple recipe!

Really good, really simple and easy. And they taste and feel like real egg roll wrappers!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
Everytime I make this my younger sister's friend goes crazy. She loves peanut butter and what could be better than peanut butter cookies sandwiched with a sweet peanut butter filling. Thanks for such a good recipe. (Even though I double this recipe for the twenty or so kids in our youth center they're usually gone before dinner time)

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
The best and most popular choco-chip cookies I have ever made. They are so good everyone thinks they're the really good quality store bought cookies or the ones you make straight from a Betty Crocker package!

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2009
This is the best recipe for tortillas I have ever used! The only thing I did differently was switch the amount of whole wheat flour with the amount of all-purpose flour to make it not as "wheaty"... because if it's too wheaty, the kids won't eat it. Thanks!

Allspice Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
This frosting was really good. The only thing I changed was I halved the sugar (or else it's too sweet for me) and I used 1/4 tsp pumkin pie spice, 1/4 tsp apple pie spice, and 1/4 tsp allspice and that made it really tasty. I used it on the Fourteen Carat Cake from this site. Yum!

Bou's Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
I liked the taste of the sauce and so did my friend. We had made a little of this to taste during dinner time, which was burgers, and thought it tasted pretty good. My friend tried the sauce on her burger and said it tasted good. I tried it too later. This sauce is great on burgers also. Try it some time!

Chocolate Teddy Bear Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
This recipe was great and cute! I kept half of the dough without the cocoa (and added a little more flour to it in hope it wouldn't have a melting effect in the oven... it still did but the shape stayed pretty fine so you could still tell they were bears) and made the other half chocolate so I hade bears and all kinds of animals with two different colors. Thanks for the fun, yummy recipe!

Healthy Oat Peaches and Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
This was really good. I made it without the cream cheese filling though because I didn't have cream cheese but it was still very good and soft. Thanks for this recipe.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
This recipe is good. The only things I changed was the sweetness. I didn't add the sweetened condensed milk because I thought the pudding was sweet enough just adding in the instant pudding mix itself.

Tangy-Cherry-Tea-Sorbet

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
I used fresh cherries. The only thing I'd do different is to blanch the cherries first in order to remove the peel so I could get a more smooth texture. This was really great tasting either way. Sweet, tangy, and a nice dessert to cool you off in the summer. Thanks!

Great Garlic Knots

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
I used leftover pizza dough and that worked fine.I also omitted the rosemary and just used garlic powder, parmesan cheese, and butter because I personally don't like the taste of rosemary. Also, I kneaded the seasoning into the bread as well to give it more of a flavor throughout.
