These are amazing. Very soft and chewy. I didn't have a bread maker, so I just used my stand mixer. I warmed the milk and water in the microwave to 115 degrees. I added the sugar and the yeast and let sit for about 20 minutes until the yeast was foamy. I added the yeast mixture, butter and salt to the bowl of the stand mixture, and then gradually added the flour. Once combined, I changed to my dough hook and kneaded in the mixer for 5 minutes. I let it rest covered in the bowl for 2 hours. Then I shaped into rols and let rest for 30 minutes. Then I baked them for about 15 minutes at 350.
