Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: May 10, 2014
Very good. Almost too much jam, making them gooey and hard to cut into bars, but they taste so good. Also made peanut butter bars to go with these. There is nothing better than peanut butter and jelly desserts!

Balsamic Bruschetta

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2014
So good. Reduced the amount to make a quick salad for one. Instead of using a French loaf, I tossed with some garlic and herb croutons and left out the garlic. Can't wait to have again this summer with fresh tomatoes from the garden!

So easy and tasty. Probably cooked a little too long. I did about 9 hours on low. Not super pretty, but tastes good.

Simple Beef Flavored Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2013
So easy and so good. I left out the onion, and used beef broth that I had left over from cooking a pot roast that had onions in it. This will now be my new go-to gravy recipe.

Chicken With Peaches And Basil Recipe - Food.com - 40061

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2013
This is delicious. Made it with fresh peaches from the store and fresh basil from my garden. Very flavorful and makes a nice thick and tasty sauce. I made enough sauce as the original recipe calls for four breasts of chicken, but only made two.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2013
The vanilla really brings out the flavor in these. On the finished crepes,I spread a little melted butter, sprinkled it with brown sugar and cinnamon, and rolled them up. It was lke cinnamon rolls in crepe form. Next time I think I'll also make some cream cheese icing to drizzle over top!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

These were fantastic. They were thick, dense and very filling. I added a bit of cinnamon to the batter and served topped with sliced bananas and maple syrup.

Excellent! And I made these modifications: reduced cheddar to 3/4 cup and added 1/4 cup mozzarella, added chopped ham and topped with French fried onions the last 5 minutes of baking.

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
This recipe is so versatile and so good! Half way through making it I realized I was missing many of the ingredients, and it still turned out great with all my substitutions. Here's what I didn't have so left it out: chicken broth, regular onion, cabbage, snap peas, peanut oil and fresh ginger. Here's what I used instead: water, carrot, garlic oil and dried ginger. All other ingredients I had and used, loved the sauce, served over sticky rice.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2012
This was very good. I made it while on vacation and didn't have any cooking oil on hand, which i usually use when making quick bread. I did have butter, sugar, flour and apples from Wisconsin though. And this bread was the perfect treat! I made it exactly as directed, except omitting the cloves because I didn't have any. I didn't find it dry at all. It was nice and moist. I used Cortland apples and cut them chunky. I also cut the recipe in half to make two small mini loaves. Would definitely make again.

Yum! East to make and tasty. Made it as directed, but instead of using six pork chops only made two, so I had more sauce per chop.
