This frosting was so creamy and smooth. I also added an exta banana to the bars for extra banana flavor.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

These were fantastic. They were thick, dense and very filling. I added a bit of cinnamon to the batter and served topped with sliced bananas and maple syrup.

Excellent! And I made these modifications: reduced cheddar to 3/4 cup and added 1/4 cup mozzarella, added chopped ham and topped with French fried onions the last 5 minutes of baking.

This was very good. The lime and vinegar give it a good flavor. I would definitely make this again.

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
This recipe is so versatile and so good! Half way through making it I realized I was missing many of the ingredients, and it still turned out great with all my substitutions. Here's what I didn't have so left it out: chicken broth, regular onion, cabbage, snap peas, peanut oil and fresh ginger. Here's what I used instead: water, carrot, garlic oil and dried ginger. All other ingredients I had and used, loved the sauce, served over sticky rice.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2012
This was very good. I made it while on vacation and didn't have any cooking oil on hand, which i usually use when making quick bread. I did have butter, sugar, flour and apples from Wisconsin though. And this bread was the perfect treat! I made it exactly as directed, except omitting the cloves because I didn't have any. I didn't find it dry at all. It was nice and moist. I used Cortland apples and cut them chunky. I also cut the recipe in half to make two small mini loaves. Would definitely make again.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Yum! East to make and tasty. Made it as directed, but instead of using six pork chops only made two, so I had more sauce per chop.

So easy and so amazing. Threw the apples and water in the crockpot before bed, and in the morning added the sugar and spice, making for an awesome breakfast!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

This is a lot of work to make, but definitely worth it! I made it with ground turkey instead of beef and added some extra chopped green pepper to the filling when browning the meat and onion.

Good. Nice and crisp. Not too strong. Used dried dill and think it would be even better with fresh.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
This was ok. It definitely cooks faster than the directions. I took it out an hour early, and it was already a bit dry. I also added quite of additional seasonings, stuffing the bird with onion, celery and garlic, placing bits of butter and more garlic cloves under the skin, and rubbing the outside of the skin with rosemary, salt, pepper and paprika.

Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2012
Amazing! The "cobbler" part is sweet and chewy, like a cookie. Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and the hubby said it was a definite "make again." Only thing I would do differently next time would be to take it out of the oven a little sooner. It was a perfect golden brown after only 20 minutes. 30 minutes is a little too long.
