World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

I'm not usually a big fan of scones, but these were very, very good! My husband and son loved them as well. Just followed the recipe- didn't change a thing.

My husband and I both enjoyed this recipe and it was very simple to make. The only change I made was to transfer everything to a casserole dish after it was done, topped it with buttered seasoned breadcrumbs and browned it under the broiler. I think this added a little extra flavor and texture.

Banana Custard Pudding

Really liked this but agree with other reviewers that it is too sweet. I also thought the vanilla extract flavor was a little too strong so may cut back to 1/2 tsp next time.

Moon Cake

Italian Cookies II

Very moist, cake-like cookies. They are my kids favorite. I ended up making several batches of these around the holidays- they went so fast!

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

I made two batches- one with vanilla pudding and chocolate chips and one with chocolate pudding and butterscotch chips. We thought these were just OK, I thought that the instant pudding gave the cookies a somewhat artificial taste. I think I will stick to more traditional chocolate chip cookie recipes from now on.

Danish Pastry Apple Bars

Great recipe! I used half mackintosh and half granny smith apples and the taste and texture were perfect. I really liked the crust- will make this again.
