Pat's Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
This recipe was tasty. I made these and we ate them on burgers for mushroom cheeseburgers and they were very good like this. I didn't think they were anything super special though which is why I'm only giving them 4 stars. I would however make them again.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
This recipe was extremely simple and delicous. I followed others advise and made it in the microwave, it made it almost too easy. I used it on top of the too much chocolate cake recipe from this site and it went with it perfectly. Will definately be making it again.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
I made this cake exactly as written and it was delicous! I'm really having a hard time holding off on making it again. I was very chocolately and moist and my husband said it tasted like it came from a bakery. I followed others advise and topped with the satiny chocolate glaze recipe from this site.

Melonade

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This was a very good drink and went over very well for my family. It's very hard to not drink them, and I think I'm going to have to run out and buy another bottle of melon liquor soon as I'm almost out now. Yum.

Glazed Meatloaf II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This is it, I've finally found it! The best meatloaf recipe! I've been trying recipe after recipe trying to find a meatloaf recipe I can stomach because I can't stand meatloaf and my family loves it. But you know what, this recipe is beyond stomaching, I actually like this meatloaf. My husband, who rarely gives compliments was actually saying yum as he was eating. My search is finally over, and this wonderful recipe is staying in my regular rotation.

Honey Butter Yule Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I'm rating this recipe as 4 stars because my husband loved it. I found it to be a little salty, and the ham cooked much quicker than the recipe called for, so it was a little over done before I noticed.

Ice Cream Cone Treats

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I made these for my sons nursery school on his birthday and they were a big hit. I tried to make the icing look like real ice cream with a pastry bag but gave up and just used a spatula, but that's due to my own poor baking abilities not do to the cupakes. I did find that the cones came out a little soggy but thought the cones tasted fine, seemed to fit in with the cupcakes. All in all I will definately make again.

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
I made exactly as described and all I have to say is yumm! Turned out great and a big hit with my family too. Did make a lot, but we like that because we get leftovers tommorow. Thanks for the wonderful recipe.

Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
I just made this tonight on the spur of the moment when I made salads and realised we didn't have any dressing. I have to say it was very good. It was a little on the thin side, but beleive me that did not affect taste at all. It was sweet but not too sweet and tangy. I did not find it to be too vinegary. My family loved it to, my husband made me save the rest even though we are out of salad, said we can buy more salad for the rest. I also thought it tasted much better than any store bought dressing.

Broccoli Casserole II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
Very good recipe, my family really enjoyed it. The only thing is it's a little rich, or I would give it 5 stars. Overall it was a very good meal, and I will probably make it again.

Scrumptious Salisbury Steak in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
I've already made this recipe twice and my family loves it, my husband actually begs for me to make it constantly. Even my son who hates meat loves it. I added browning sauce to it, using fresh mushrooms, and as for the onion I added what the recipe required to the meat and sautéing what was left of the onion in the butter before adding the mushrooms. All in all it's delicious and is definately staying in my family's regular rotation.

Irish Potato Candy

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
I made these last night, and they turned out wonderful, just like the wonderful irish potatoes my neighbor used to make when I was a child. My family loved them too, especially my son, he keeps going back for more. I followed the recipe exactly and had no problem with consistency or rolling them. The only problem is they're addiciting, I couldn't stop eating them! Will definately make again.

Two-Bean Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
The chili is very tasty, but a little liquidy, more like chili soup. It is very quick and easy though. Might try again, but cut down on the liquids more this time.

Hearty Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
I followed this recipe exactly, except I made meatballs and had to cut down on the cooking time a little. It turned out wonderful, better than the local sub shop. My family loved it, my husband took some to work the next day and demanded I make it again. I definately will be making it again, very soon hopefully!
