Cooking is therapeutic for me! I love to cook for others--anything to make people smile and feel good about eating. Bread has been my greatest challenge, but also my most fun accomplishment.

Cooking sweets and treats like crazy at Christmastime. I also love to make frosted sugar cookies for almost every holiday. I would love to begin a Sunday meal tradition for my family but have yet to come up with one that works for all of us.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread
I have used this recipe for a few years now and it is amazing! I add 4-6 tbsp of vital wheat gluten, and use all whole wheat flour. I usually grind my own flour from hard white wheat berries that I have on hand. It works great as sandwich bread and is a delicious treat with homemade jam!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread
The BEST banana bread recipe ever. I did use the variations from naples34102 which are very minor. I only softened the butter, and then added a teaspoon each of baking soda and baking powder. I also mixed together the bananas and sour cream before folding them into the batter. I prefer to bake my banana bread in mini loaf pans and they took about 30 minutes to cook. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
