Poached Salmon II

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
This was really good. I used fresh parsley since its summer and I had it fresh in the garden. It didn't say to cover, but I did. Next time I will use more wine and less water or try broth as other suggested. I this would probably be good with other uherbs. I usually broil my salmon, but this recipe is just way to easy. And cleanup was a breeze. Time was accurate, careful don't overcook fish.

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
The first time I made this it was awesome. Then I tried to halve the recipe and it burnt every time. Make this exactly as it says. I test with 1 kernal before adding popcorn and sugar. Then shake continuously til it pops, then every three seconds or so until popping slows. I cook it on 6 or 7 on my electric range.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2011
Although the taste is fantastic I think the best thing about this soup is that it takes 45 MINUTES to throw together, so you can make it anytime. Like many reviewers I had a ham bone and used the stock from the stewing hambone (used for beans) in place of water and bouillon as I didn't have any.

Alla Checca

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2011
I have made this same sort of thing before, but without the 8 hours sitting on the counter. What a difference! I used fresh everything and high quality olive oil. Perfect as is. Used grated parmesan from the can but could be a dish for company with shaved or shredded - prettier presentation. Thanks!

This is the perfect technique for iced tea. The pinch of soda makes all the difference.

Green Bean Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
I was not impressed with the first bite, but it got better and better. I would do as other reviewers have suggested and steam the green beans first. Also I don't like salty food so I will try reduced sodium soy next time.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
Awesome sauce! Didn't have any cashews to use, but it didn't matter. And I don't even like broccoli!
