Mom's Zucchini Bread

I used a combo of whole wheat flour & all purpose so maybe that's why it turned out a little dense... over all it was delicious but a little too dry & dense.

Mango Chicken Bake

Great combination of flavours, just a little bland... next time I will add salt or fish sauce to bring out the flavour of the red curry paste. Thanks though- it was a fun new recipe & I look forward to trying it again with my "tweaks".

Tuna Pasta Salad with Avocado

Great base & idea! I didn't have ital dressing so I made a concoction of my own dressing + a little pesto. SOOOOO GOOD! Try it! I'm so happy that I found this recipe b/c I never would have put tuna with avocado... but it works! The creaminess of the avocado goes really well. Enjoy & thanks for the recipe!

Coconut Poke Cake

Overall, a great cake. If you're wondering to use or not use the condensed milk: DO NOT USE IT. It is plenty sweet without & too sweet if you add it. Thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Bryan

I halved the sauce ingredients (so much butter) and it still turned out saucy. I realize that this is a restaurant meal hence the butter however for a home version it's fine with less butter & also less lemon. I found it overpoweringly lemony... It was still enjoyable & I hope to try the original in the restaurant one day...

Asian Pasta Salad with Beef, Broccoli and Bean Sprouts

Delicious dressing without the mayo! The only change I made: I chopped some chicken breast and marinated it in some soy sauce, sesame oil and some garlic and then sauteed it. I used this instead of the beef. I also used ramen noodles- way more delicious than just penne pasta! Delicious recipe- thank you!

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Great starter idea- I used Greek seasoning for all the vegies and barbecued the sausages separately. I also added mushrooms and red peppers- delicious!

Noodles Mexicana

Well I didn't have tomatoes so I threw in a jar of salsa and then to add more liquid I added vegetable juice- it was amazing! I'm glad that I was out of tomatoes... you should try it and tell me what you think!

Spinach Casserole

I'm giving 4 stars b/c like others, I made some changes. Here they are: to the spinach/cheese mix add 3 cloves garlic and 1 onion sauteed in olive oil. Skip the processed cheese and do 3 c. mozz instead. Use 1/2 c. butter TOTAL! That includes brushing the melted butter on the layers of phyllo. Hope you like the changes!! We sure did!

Hamburger Hash

As everyone else said, this is a good starter. I added: garlic (fresh), worcestershire sauce, 1 Tb or so of a vegie spice blend, 1-2 tsp of cumin or so and only added water little by little as it evaporated, thus avoiding the "soup" that so many complained about! As a last minute, "I have nothing in my kitchen" reciped I would repeat it. Thanks.

Spicy BBQ Chicken

This sauce is AMAZING! Sweet, spicy, fantastic! I gave it 4 stars because like others, I added stuff: 1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke, 1 tsp. thyme and some fresh rosemary. I had friends wanting to lick the sauce bowl! Thanks, I can't wait to try it on ribs!
