I'm a totally newbie in the kitchen. I feel that I can't cook, but whenever I make anything (usually recipies from this site) my husband always says that it's great, and he would tell me the truth. I really enjoy trying recipies from this website. Other than that I dont know what to say! HAHA
My favorite things to cook
I love mexican food. Enchiladas are my favorite. I also love to bake, but I dont get to do that as much as I would like.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking Christmas cookies. Dozens and dozens of christmas cookies!
My cooking triumphs
Every time I cook something and my husband and I like it! I cooked my first and only Turkey so far a few years ago and my husband and father-in-law said it was the juiciest turkey they ever ate and still talk about it several years later.
My cooking tragedies
I've had a few. I have found that if something calls for onions that I need to severely cut back the amount or eliminate them altogether because my husband and I dont care for them much.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs
Edible but not good at all. We have made other recipies on here where the meatballs are cooked in the sauce and were MUCH better. Not making this again.

Barbeque Pork Two Ways
I omit the onions for a light dusting of onion powder and cook on high for 5 hours. The amount of sauce used is perfect and doesn't make for a watery sauce in the end. This is now my 'go to' recipie for pulled pork.

Delicious Egg Salad for Sandwiches
I used Heinz sweet relish instead of the pickles and It was very good. I have made this a few times now and I find that I need to add a little more relish than what the recipe calls for with the pickles. This is my 'go to' egg salad now.
