About this Cook
I enjoy cooking and my dear husband enjoys eating, so it works out well! We enjoy antiquing,gardening,travel and sports,especially ice hockey.We also love to try new restaurants and especially enjoy the many diverse food festivals in Philadelphia. Philly is a GREAT restaurant town!
My favorite things to cook
My husband and I love to recreate the dishes we had during our travels. Our favorite places have been Italy, Scotland and any island in the Caribbean!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother was an awesome cook. My first cooking experience was making homemade pasta,without the machine.We made the well in the middle of the flour and added the eggs. The pasta was cut by hand or on the "Chitarra" was so much fun.
My cooking triumphs
What I am most proud of is being able to cook the special dishes my dear departed mother used to make, especially during the holidays or family get-togethers. These traditions ensure that she is still there with us.
My cooking tragedies
That would be the first time I made a meatloaf in the microwave. It came out hard as a brick!! Any kind of pie....I just can't seem to get it right.

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham
This glaze was delicious. I used clementines, instead of an orange and it came out great!
