Easy Ham and Cheese Appetizer Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
I never thought I would need a recipe for ham and cheese, but when I tried these and shared them with family they all said "hands down the best ham and cheese sandwiches I've ever eaten". I used Kings Hawaiian rolls instead of party rolls, delicious.

Uglies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
This is a wonderful recipe loved by all ages. I made this for my family the day after Christmas and they devoured them. I followed the recommendation from another rater and just dropped the biscuits in the muffin tins, rather than rolling out the dough. Easy and yummy!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
WOW, WHAT A RECIPE! My family loved this dish. Such an easy recipe with tons of flavor. If you want it sweeter - add more honey, thicker - add more peanut butter, hotter - add more chile paste. So family pleasing that even my infant couldn't resist. This is a ten star recipe.

Lemon Crisps

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
I am a lover of lemon cakes and pies so I was anxious to try this recipe. Unfortunately, the cookies were hard and did not taste like a good lemon flavor, too imitation.

Cuban Ropa Vieja

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I'm from Miami (19 years) and married to a Cuban. First, I must say that this recipe is KICK A**! So easy and full of SABOR (flavor). We are garlic lovers and used six garlic cloves and topped it off with a squeeze of fresh lime, delicious just like my mother-in-laws only this recipe is simple. I recommend that anyone who wishes to try this recipe follow it exactly as written. Don't use chuck roast use the flank steak and stick to the authenticity of this recipe.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I made this bread on two occassions. First, in order to be fair and honest with rating this recipe I followed it exactly as written. So easy, moist and delicious. This recipe is a keeper. Now, my recommendations: I mashed the bananas rather than slicing them. I added one teaspoon of cinnamon to the mix. I used pecans rather than walnuts. Lastly, I sprayed a 9 x 5 loaf pan with canola oil and dusted it with cinnamon and sugar. OH SO GOOD!

Easy Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
Rich, easy and delicious gravy. I made apple butter pork tenderloins in the slow cooker and drained the broth and separated the fat drippings. I followed the recipe as stated and added rosemary as a finishing touch. Wonderful, must try recipe.

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
Great, great recipe. Tons of flavor, easy to prepare. The instant apple cinnamon oatmeal packet was a nice ingredient. I did follow recommendations from other raters and chopped a granny smith apple to the mix for a fresh, true flavor, added nutmeg and cloves for a more spicer taste. Prepared a streusel for the top. Thanks for the recipe and recommendations.

Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
DELICIOUS! What an unusual combination of ingredients. I must admit I was a little leery of this recipe, but I love cranberry sauce and it was worth a try. First, I pan seared the roast. I then prepared the sauce with all the ingredients listed and brought to a boil. Finally, placed roast and sauce in my slow cooker and let it cook for 5 hours. WOW, the sauce was the perfect consistency and so tangy. A must try recipe.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Ribbon Dessert

If you are looking for a dessert that is rich and decadent, this is it. Not to mention, the presentation is very attractive. Easy to make with an icecream-like consistency. Great with a warm cup of coffee.

Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with this recipe. So simple, yet something appeared to be lacking in taste. Sorry

Quick Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
I followed the ingredients as listed on the recipe and added a variety of fresh mushrooms. I cooked in the slow cooker for 4 hours on high. The chicken was tasty and fall apart tender however, it was lacking something in flavor. Very easy to prepare with hardly any clean-up therefore, it gets a four star rating.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Stop looking, this is absolutely the best meatloaf on the All Recipes website. I've tried numerous meatloaf recipes and my family always requests this one. Don't make any changes as this recipe is perfect.

Meat Loaf Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Just finished eating this for supper. Yummy, all my family loved this even my nine month old couldn't get enough. I did pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes and added more ketchup. When I asked my family to assist me in rating it they all said it was a four star recipe because it was lacking in flavor. I will prepare this dish again however, I will kick it up with more spices next time.

Hamburger Pie

I prepared this for my family last night and I was not too impressed. Followed ingredients as listed and as expected it was very bland. This recipe has great potential though. I would definitely follow the recommendations from other reviewers if I make again.

Smothered Green Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I love green beans and this recipe is so tasty. I used regular sliced bacon, cooked until crispy and removed bacon from the skillet. Stirred onion and tons of fresh minced garlic to the fat. Lastly, I added the green beans and water. Topped it off with the crumbled bacon.

Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Blue Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I made these for my family at Christmas. They are a bit time consuming but worth it in the end. The sweetness of the dates, the saltly bacon and the rich taste of the blue cheese make your mouth water. This is definitely an appetizer that I will serve over and over during the holidays.

Cayenne Pretzels

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
My 11 year old calls these wicked pretzels. You should put a caution sign on this recipe: BE CAREFUL, HIGHLY ADDICTING. My husband couldn't stop eating them. I made these pretzels as a Valentine's Day gift for my neighbors and they all want the recipe. Thanks Gayle for sharing an award winning recipe.

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
I know this is a basic baked spaghetti recipe however, it lacked a lot in taste. It needed much more sauce than indicated. The most dominate flavor was the noodles. If I make again, I will double the meat, cheese and sauce.
