Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

This recipe was awesome! I made mine into cupcakes and used the cream cheese frosting II on here. The only change I made was adding a little nutmeg. I left out the coconut due to personal taste.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Finally a cream cheese frosting that you can taste the cream cheese! To all the people complaining about too much cream cheese taste, well...look at the title of the recipe! Maybe you would be better off buying the sickly sweet cream cheese frosting from a can. Anyways, I made this for carrot cake cupcakes and followed the recipe exactly. I had no problems spreading it at all. It's perfect.

Spinach Rice

I tripled the rice(used 1c. rice and 2c. water) I omitted the jalapenos and added a little chili powder to it. The second time I made it I added some shredded carrots to it to add some color. Next time I make it I'm gonna use the taco flavor shredded cheese(I use the whole 8oz. pkg) I brought some in to this lady I work with and she loved it. She is like my guinea pig and samples all the recipes that I try out.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

These are very good. I added 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the melted chocolate like the one poster suggested. I did add more peanut butter to the filling than the recipe called for.

This tastes OK, but it doesn't seem to have the right texture that a real cheesecake is supposed to have. It has a rubbery-like feel to it or something.

West African Peanut Stew

I added extra peanut butter and extra collard greens to it. I cut the chicken broth down to 4 cups so it would be a little thicker. I love this stuff!

Asian Barbequed Steak

Very good. The fish sauce in it doesn't taste "fishy" at all. Be careful if you cook it in a frying pan because it will stick to the pan and be a mess to clean up.

Murgh Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

It was good! I didn't have tandoori powder so I used garam masala instead. Also, I don't have fenugreek leaves in my area, so I used 1/2t fenugreek powder and some dried cilantro leaves instead. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. Thanks!

Mongo Guisado (Mung Bean Soup)

This ended up turning into a green sloppy mush when it was finished. I thought the pork and shrimp combination was an odd mix of tastes also. I won't make this again...sorry!

Norwegian Meatballs

These are very good! I have made them a few times. The only thing is that each time I have made them, the sauce has turned out quite thin so I had to add some more roux to thicken it up. I followed the recipe as written aside from omitting the sugar. Thanks so much for posting this!
