Juicy Peach Crisp

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
holy yummy!!! but i did add more peaches because 6 peaches barely covered the bottom of the dish. i did 10 peaches and glad i did because the topping made a lot and the ratio of topping to peaches wouldnt have been right.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
these were tastey and moist but i did sub bean puree for butter. the only problem i had with them is that they were too small.. to get a normal sized muffin you must fill them all the way to the top that means you have to double to recipe t get 12 muffins which i will do next time

Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
very tastey but i was hoping for a " WOW THATS BROCCOLI" taste and i think the large onion took away from that... next time i will use a small one but keep the garlic the same... i didnt put nutmeg init because i just don't like it. The soup is thick i used a fod processer to puree it because it was alread sitting there the blender was not :) my 21m old even likes it

Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
really quick and delicious! i followed the recipe exactly and turned out just like the picture. i dislike dark chocolate and therefore am in love with milk chocolate but did NOT find that the semi sweet produced an intense chocolate flavour at all.. i used presidents choice decadent chocolate chunks

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2010
TO DIE FOR!i have made this twice within a week already and ready to go on my third. i was affraid of the spreading that people mentioned so i added the extra flour and baking soda and put in fridge for at least 30 min.i also put a whole bag of milk chocolate chips in and no nuts. i took one reviewers suggestion since it seemed they did some extrensive testing to bake at 335F for 12 min. the first batch i did i droped the batter onto the cookie sheet and out 8 to a sheet and baked at 335 for 12 min and they turned out to be about 2-2 1/2" diameter. which made for a 5 bite cookie :)it made 36 this size cookie. they didnt last long cause they were soooo good. The second batch i rolled them into inch balls or so( it made a two bite cookie) and have 12 to a sheet and baked them at 335 for 12min. and they second half baked them for 11 min which made a chewer cookie. this size made about 60 or so cookies.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
AMAZING!!! they taste just like tim hortins timbits! i have never had anything with nutmeg in so i only putjust over 1/2 tsp in and filled my mini muffin tins to the top to make sure i got a good muffin top on it since that is always the best part of the muffin. i also loaded on the cinnamon mixture before baking minus the butter so i didnt had to dip them after they came out and mine only needed to be baked for 13 min

French Onion Soup XI

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
it was good first time ive have onion soup my husband and i almost finished off the whole pot! i did decrease the amout of onions to 5 which was def enough! next time i will only maybe do 4 or 3 1/2 i sauteed them in batches adding a pinch of sugar to each and addiding a dash of worchestshire sauce to it. i thought 1 tsp of thyme was a little too much next time maybe 1/2 of thyme

Carrots Au Gratin

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
made this because i love carrots, onions and cheese so why not all together?! it didnt taste horrible but it had no real kick to it or something we ate it but it is not something we would go looking for in the fridge to eat the next day... though i thought it was pretty quick and easy to make unlike someother reviews

Potato Leek Soup III

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
FABULOUS! used 3 leeks instead of two( sold in a bunch and didnt know what to do with the left over leek) used6 red potatoes with skins on as another person suggested. i put in maybe 1/2 tsp salt and fresh ground black pepper. I also used 3/4 c butter but it was way too much for my taste will make with 1/4 c next time if not less and the 1/2 and1/2 cream like others said but next time i am going to try it with skim milk to make it less rich. Oh and also substituted veggie broth for chicken. will make again and again!
