Magnificent Cheesy Brown Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
Very tasty! I used Minute Brown Rice-don't have the patience for conventional & salted the water with garlic salt. I also added broccoli, mushrooms and diced zucchini. It was a bit dry so I added some chicken broth. Even the non-rice lovers ate it all-proof that everything tastes better with cheese!

Famous Restaurant Queso Dip

This truly does taste just like a favorite restaurant's recipe that I have been trying to duplicate for years. I'm embarrassed that is was so easy and I couldn't nail it! I cut the recipe in 1/2 since it was just a side dish for 4 - wished I would have made the full recipe!

Central American Tacos

Delicious! I used 3 potatoes - baked in conventional oven and added garlic & onion powder and a dash of red pepper. The salsa was a big hit.

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Wings

Unfortunately, despite utilizing the other reviewer's recommendations to improve the dish; this recipe was a total bomb. The texture was awful, the sauce tasteless - what a waste of good ingredients.

Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
Very delicious! This one is a keeper that all of my family asks for repeatedly. I marinate 2 batches - 1 as per recipe for the kids, and 1 adding a substantial amount of Tabasco to raise the heat level. I like chicken breast strips or deboned thighs to lessen cooktime. Hint: Cover your cooktop with foil so the grease splatters are easier to clean up!
