Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

I made this for my husband to take to work to celebrate November birthdays. He called me from work before the day started to tell me how good it was, especially the pecan topping. I made it as directed for the 9x13 pan, but I took the advice of another reviewer to double the topping. I was out of foil, so I greased the pan well. My husband is not afraid to tell me to make something again or to lose the recipe. This one is a keeper! Can't wait to make it again!

Puppy Chow I

I am allergic to peanuts and my DH loves Puppy Chow. Today, I made it with Crispix and cashew butter. YUM! I will take the recommendation to use vanilla next time. It was wonderful!

Jimmy Dean Breakfast Casserole

I made this for my husband's potluck breakfast at work today. He said it was FABULOUS and not to change a thing. I read other reviews, used one less egg and substituted half of the milk for half and half. I read somewhere else to use the JD Maple sausage in breakfast casseroles, so I did. I was already asked to make this again. : )

Halibut with Cream Sauce

My husband wanted sea bass for Valentine's day, saw that this recipe had a high rating, and asked me to make it for him. I decided to try this with sea bass as I had no earthly idea how to prepare sea bass. This was delicious! We had a little too much sauce and it is not the prettiest dish, however the sea bass came out moist and perfect. I did not have a lot of spices on hand, so I used Italian seasoning. I baked it in the oven at 400 degrees for 25 minutes based upon another review. We will make this again. I did not give this a 5 star rating as the presentation not beautiful. The taste is a 5 star rating for sure!

Pasta Carbonara

I made this for Christmas Eve dinner and my family complemented me on the sauce. I used garlic powder instead of fresh garlic (I did not realize I was out of garlic!); half and half instead of milk; and added white pepper, salt, nutmeg as well as more parmesan cheese than recipe called for as my family and I LOVE cheese. This is a good recipe! I know I will make variations of this over time.
