Ghirardelli Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Hearts

I followed the recipe exactly (including all 4 packages of cream cheese) with the only exception of 7T butter because I like a crumbly not buttery crust, and 2T sugar in the raspberry puree because I bought sweetened berries. This is a great recipe that makes a tall elegant chocolate cheese cake. It does not taste like typical "cheesecake" because it is chocolate. If you want it to taste like vanilla than don't add the chocolate or add half the chocolate to half the batter (after removing the part for the raspberry) and make a marble cake. My husband and I loved it. It is very rich though.

Strawberry Muffins

I love these muffins and so does my 3 yr. old! I used 3/4 C. of oats instead of flour and it was delicious! Thanks for the recipe.

Hummus III

Don't forget to add in some of the juice from the can and it is the perfect recipe. I make slight changes to suite different family members but I never have to change much. For example only 1/4 c. tahini if my toddler will be eating it. Less garlic add roasted peppers for my husband, more garlic for my mother... But that is nothing against the recipe. If I make it as is - with the juice- everyone likes it!

Eggplant Bruschetta

I used whole fresh sweet basil from my window garden. It was wonderful! I never new about salting it before. That makes all the difference. Even my two year old ate it!

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Turkey Wild Rice Soup

I made this for the first time this year. It is a great soup to relax with because of the turkey and cherry. I think we will make it every year. I made my own turkey stock and used that instead of using condensed chicken broth. It was great!

Guinness® Corned Beef

My husband loves it when I make this. He likes to try different local or favorite beers as well. It has always turned out great no matter what we use. I don't recommend cooking the veggies with the meat though unless you want them to taste like beer instead of veggies.

I use this method for chicken and turkey and I love it. It is good to try and pull spices out before you server it because depending on the spices you use it doesn't make a good texture.

Divine Cherry Chocolate Ice Cream

Wow! This is the recipe I have been looking for. I thought there were a lot of eggs in this one compared to other recipes I found. But it is sooo good. I'm glad I didn't adjust. I had a hard time finding bittersweet chocolate, but I'm so glad I went to the second store and got it. This really is divine. I didn't change a thing except I didn't have whole milk so I just replaced 1 cup milk with the heavy cream. Yum, yum, yum!

Fried Plantains

I love fried plantains. But when I make them I coat both sides in sugar which caramelizes in the oil and then serve with real maple syrup. It adds a lot of calories, but it sure is worth it.
