Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Made this exactly as written, and they were delicious. I get better results with the glaze when I sift the powdered sugar.

Chef John's Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

I didn't use all of the flour, just added the second part as needed while I kneaded the dough. I loved the rolls themselves and have gotten some rave reviews. I made them at night, and let them sit in the fridge overnight. To help with the rise in the morning, I put the rolls in a cold oven, filled a shallow pan with boiling water and set it underneath for 30 minutes. Then I took both pans out and preheated the oven.The reason I didn't give this 5 stars was the icing. Mine came out lumpy both times I made it. Next time, I am definitely finding a new icing.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I've been using this zucchini bread recipe for almost 10 years, and everyone loves it and asks for the recipe. I don't change a thing, unless I'm making it for someone who can't eat nuts.

Sweet Jalapeno Cornbread

Great cornbread recipe! I have way more peppers in my garden than I know what to do with. I didn't have margarine, so I used butter and it worked just fine. Also, I've already pickled all of my jalapeƱos, so I used garden salsa peppers instead. I took the suggestion at the bottom and reduced the sugar, because I like only slightly sweet cornbread.

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna

It was great. I reduced the amount of mushrooms to about a quarter pound and added spinach instead. I also reduced the amount of sauce to about 1.5 jars, based on what other reviewers said.

Red Velvet Cake

The cake part was super easy and delicious. I'm addicted to the Cream Cheese Frosting II, so I used that instead of the frosting in this recipe. This is the second recipe for Red Velvet that I've tried, and this is much better than the first...no lumps.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

I've been making this recipe for a few years, and it is always a hit. After boiling the potatoes, I split them up and put a lesser amount of garlic in part of them for those people who don't like it so much. Sometimes I add a smidgen of milk if they look dry.
