Chocolate Marshmallow Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
I made this recipe for the filling in a smores cake. It came out amazing! My family enjoyed just digging right into it with graham crackers. I will use this recipe again and as often as I can. Delish!

Avon's Apple Pie Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
After seeing this recipe shared on the Recipe Exchange/ Buzz page several times, I decided this was on my MUST make list. So happy I did! These absolutely delicious cookies will welcome my husband home from a long business trip with just the right amount of sweetness, with a hint of apple flavoring-- perfect for fall. I am looking forward to spending part of this afternoon with two of these cookies and a nice mug of vanilla chai. This recipe bakes up beautifully and has a perfect texture. I let mine sit in the fridge overnight because time got away from me yesterday. I LOVE recipes you can make one day and bake another. Thanks for sharing Avon! Happy Baking. (Note: I made my apple butter from the all day apple butter recipe on this site... love saying it's all homemade.)

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
Just made a double batch of these today-- SO glad I doubled the batch. I ended up sending some to my neighbor (he loves them), my kids love them, and I froze some for future use. Awesome recipe as is.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
Very easy, very flavorful, very good dish. I followed directions exactly (except omitted the frozen veggies and opted for a rice pilaf for the side). Came out great!

S'mores Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
I love this recipe... but I like it better with more of a crunch to it (which is why this is only getting 4 stars). I recommend layering graham crackers on the bottom of the pan in squares, then top with the chocolate and marshmallows. I broke up some additional graham crackers so they were chunkier to sprinkle on the top to add more crunch. These little changes perfected the recipe for me to make it 5 stars. Yum!

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
I really liked these muffins. They tasted great and had a nice texture to them. I did make a few changes to the recipe though... I used 4 bananas mashed and added 4 ounces of unsweetened applesauce. I also used one whole egg and one egg white instead of the 2 called for. I used 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 c. splenda. I also added 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. vanilla and 3 TBL. benefiber. I also used 1 c. ap flour and 1 c. whole wheat flour. I didn't bake them in muffin cups either. I just sprayed the tins with a little pam. They baked up nicely. I got 12 nice sided muffins from this recipe. I topped each with a little brown sugar sprinkled on top to add a little crunch. Very good.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Great, simple recipe with a delish ending. I used reduced fat PB to "healthy them up a bit". I plan on making these again with dark chocolate. So good.

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
Love this recipe. Great as is, but if you don't have any rum or rum extract on hand you can just add in some extra vanilla. The taste isn't that much different-- just a little sweeter. (I actually prefer it with just the vanilla.)
