Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2014
As other reviews have stated, the ingredients in this recipe can make you skeptical that it will be good. This dish was delicious. I followed other reviewers recommendations and used whole cranberry sauce as well as coating the pork in salt, pepper and garlic. I let the pork sit with the ingredients overnight. I also used another reviewers suggestion of creating a rue with the sauce. I used 1T OF both butter and flour, after heating mixed in the sauce. I also cooked the pork on low in the slow cooker and within 6 hours it was complete. Less than I had anticipated. This was so delicious. For once I can't think of anything that I would need to add to make this recipe more incredible. Will definitely be making this again in the future.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
Simply delicious! Definitely will make again. What a wonderful recipe!! Like other reveiwers I altered the recipe a bit. I subsituted chicken broth for the water, fresh garlic for powdered and added some bacon. I also cut down on the tomato sauce and added a can of diced tomatoes. I put the pasta in the soup 20 minutes before it was done. Personally I wasn't too happy with that since it soaked up all the liquid so I added another can of chicken broth. My husband and father loved it as it was which wasn't much of a soup.

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
This was amazing! My father said it was the best meal I have ever cooked. I followed many other users suggestions. First I sauteed portobella mushrooms with the onions. I subsituted beef broth for the 2 cups water and added 1/4 cup red wine to the liquid mixture. I also used fresh garlic rather than powedered and NO SALT! This recipe doesn't need any salt with the amount from everything else. I cooked everything for 50 minutes then added frozen peas. I waited 10 minutes than added the gravy mixture for another 30 minutes uncovered. This is a must cook dish! Definitely will make it again.

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
Great recipe! I used Italian bread crumbs and added some of the seeds to the cream chesse mixture. I made this twice, the second time I used large jalapenos which I do not recommend using again.

Delicious!!! Great with Rotini pasta rather than elbows. The rotini absorb more of the taste.

Zucchini Patties

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
I have been making these patties for a few months now. I have even made copies and handed them out to almost everyone I know. Recently I tweeked the recipe slightly. I normally use two little zucchini's, this time I used one zucchini and one small yellow squash. My family won't let me go back to the original way of cooking it! They love the yellow squash addition. It is less bitter and sweeter than the orginal. Thank you for your wonderful recipe!!!
