Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
WOW!! Great!! Made exact except no marjoram, subbed pinch of sugar for the honey, and couldn't find anchovy paste at store. I mixed everything and let it set for a few hours in the fridge to fuse flavors together. I have used this about 8 times in past 2 weeks on a homemade pizza crust. It was just what i've been needin for that perfect homemade sauce. A little spicy(for some maybe. not me!!) but even my 3 yr old eats it up. Great!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Colored Sugar

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
Easy and saves alot of time & money! I just put about 1/3 cup of sugar in a fold top sanwich bag(very cheap and thin so easy to mix)along w/ about 5 drops of blue liquid color and smooshed it around a bit w/ my hands. I then spread it out on a plate & used it on sugar cookies about 10 minutes later. Great!! Thanks!!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Very good! I just used margarine instead of butter and added another tsp of vanilla. I then rolled into balls(about tbsp size), using a lil' powdered sugar to keep dough from sticking. I then used the bottom of a pilsner glass coated w/ colored sugar to smoosh the cookies down. It made nice size cookies that were great!! Thanks!

New York Italian Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
Great! This was exactly what I was looking for. I halved recipe for 1 large pizza. I added 1/2tsp garlic powder, 1/4tsp onion powder, 1/4tsp oregano & basil to flour. I used a hand mixer with one dough hook, cuz I could only find one, lol. I refrigerated about 1 hour, rolled out and topped with "Exquisite Pizza Sauce" from this site(minus anchovy & honey), pepperoni, ham, mushrooms & mozzarella. I baked at 450 for 15 minutes on metal pizza pan. Delicious!! Soft and slightly chewy! Thanks for the recipe!!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2011
awesome!! I make these alot, sometimes using tortillas, other times egg roll wraps, which are alot easier to roll and fry. I usually make double b/c i try to use the whole can of beans & box of spinach so I just freeze the leftover filling for next time. Definitley serve with "Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce"!!--that just puts it over the top! Thanks for the recipe!

Grandma's Polish Perogies

Reviewed: May 23, 2012
Really good! I had store-bought ones a few weeks ago and I immediately came here to see if there was a recipe for them. I quartered the recipe, just to try it out. I followed the directions, but also added a lil' milk, butter, and garlic to my mashed potatoes to make them extra creamy. I just used a four cheese mexican mix b/c I had that on hand. I layed out some parchment paper on the counter to roll them out on and keep the clean-up easy. It took a few to get the hang of folding them just right but I turned out twenty medium size perogies. I placed them on parchment paper on a cookie sheet to freeze, then placed half in a bag. I then boiled the other half 'til floating, then sauteed in a lil' butter and sprinkled with black pepper. Very good!!! Way better than store bought. I will make a full batch soon and try some variations-add bacon, ham, or spinach--my imagination is going wild!! Thank you for this recipe!!
